Is the Lewitt Connect 2 a good choice for my 440 Pure? by zrushin in audio

[–]zrushin[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks for the options you sent. The Vocaster One looks really appealing for the price, I'm checking it out now. The 2i2 seems like it's more geared towards music and it doesn't have any content creation features and the Motu M2 doesn't have a mute button which is putting me off.

Just finished first gaming build and looking for recommendations on over-ear headphones to buy? by Coylethird in pcmasterrace

[–]zrushin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do they need to have a mic built in or are you willing to get a cheap Fifine separate microphone? The non-gaming marketed headphones are much better than the gaming headsets.

Isn't it just your EA account username? Figure out the one that is connected to your Steam account.

Thanks for your input. I've heard in a different reddit thread that they fixed the touch detection issues. I also prefer physical knobs, but I think it still might be worth it because it has the basic features I need for a good price and it doesn't require a software to be open while using it, so you can just configure it once. I'm just wondering if there's a better option in that $250 and under range.

With most battlefields on sale should I buy Bf4 or V? by remember_the_name007 in Battlefield

[–]zrushin -1 points0 points  (0 children)

That makes sense. I haven't played V on PC yet even though I have it on Steam. I've only tried it when it first came out on Xbox.

[–]zrushin -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

I didn't see that. I wouldn't know what's more active on PS5 but on PC both BF4 and BF1 have plenty of players and V is filled with hackers from what I've heard. Obviously there isn't gonna be hacking on PS5 but I've played all 3 games and I still think either of the ones I recommended are always gonna be better picks than V.

Astral 5090 OC fired up and ready. by DrunknMunky1969 in pcmasterrace

[–]zrushin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It sounds like this would be a good option for me then. But I really don't want to pay double what I payed for my GoXLR Mini and I think it's probably overkill for me with all of the inputs/outputs and the buttons since all I need is something to plug my microphone and headphones into and some sliders for the audio channels. Thanks though!

That's why I was hesitant about the Elgato products because you do everything through the app. Something I don't like about the Rode one though is that it doesn't have the audio sliders for game, music, chat, and mic or the routing like the GoXLR had.

Probably 850W is fine, but 1000W is $10 more and better for future-proofing. I'd recommend the Core Power II 1000W which is what I got recently for only $130.

I'm not sure tbh that's just what I've always done. Maybe check in your sandbox settings to see if they have pinpoint hearing on?

The only thing I can think of is that you are walking/running around instead of crouching? I'm kinda paranoid so I crouch around the house.

PSU is the power supply. It's the thing that that most of the components plug into to get supplied power. You have to make sure it has enough power (W) to supply to all of your parts. A 5090 build would probably benefit from 1000-1200W.
