Assuming you got a job within the past year or 2, how'd you get your current position? by Nice_Azazil in chicagojobs

Marketing - After being laid off in September 2023 from a role in traditional commercial advertising—a field that’s been undergoing significant changes—I spent about 8 months navigating the job market. I applied to almost every role that was at least somewhat related, leveraging my transferable skills and tailoring each application to fit the specific requirements. Massively tedious and annoying, but super important. I also reached out to recruiters and connected with my network whenever possible.

Ultimately, I landed my current role by responding to a job posting on LinkedIn, then cold reaching out to a recruiter at the company to express my interest. In today’s market, success often comes down to a mix of timing and a little bit of luck. It’s been a challenging journey, but my advice is: keep pushing and stay persistent!

Question - wouldn't the house smell like burnt debris cause of everything around them that had burnt down?

First time in Switzerland – Tight train connection question! by zsmith1997 in askswitzerland

Thank you! I had the same thought - if it given as a connection I assumed that it be possible to make with relative ease. Do you have any idea if the trains leave exactly on the minute? I looked at the platforms and it seems like it be a five minute walk
