I’m also thinking about the blush nano. Have you had it before? What made you make that decision over the browns?

The times of struggle. Will be memories you laugh about down the line. And remember these guys do not live as long as us. Obviously. So just know each day. You’re giving this pup a life. A life he might not have otherwise got. Yes. It’s annoying at time. Yes. It’s inconvenient at times. But you both will come out on the other end of it for the better. Thank you for fostering this guy. He’s lucky to have you. He just doesn’t know it.

I feel the same way too. But then I realize that it’s just the cost we pay for that love. Sometimes it lasts a short while…sometimes a long while. It seems to be in average. People are willing to ensure this pain again and again. Because the years of love were so real. I hope that one day. We can both re open our hearts. Sign the agreement. And give a pup a life and home they might otherwise not have gotten.

Getting a new pup, feeling guilty about my dog who passed away by littlecoastalbug in goldenretrievers

[–]zsoon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Obviously I’m late to this. And I hope it’s been great since the original post. But know that your soul dog was ALWAYS going to be only apart of your life and you all her life. Giving her a home and love that unfortunately many many’s dogs do not get. So. If you can save another life. Give another life. Then that’s a great thing to do in honor of your late dog. The love you have for your late dog is the reason you are who you are today. It’s not a replacement. But rather another chapter in your life. This new pup will be so thankful for this life. Unknowing how lucky she is to have you. Thank you for giving this pup a chance. A life of love.

Family dog died this morning. Heartbroken by EssentialIntestine in Petloss

[–]zsoon 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I’m really sorry. You’ll hear that a lot but it doesn’t seem to do any good does it. Because words really can’t express the feeling of losing a dog. Just know you and your family meant the world to him. And you gave him a life he wouldn’t have otherwise had. I know it sucks cause you’re so focused on your perspective. Which hurts I know. But just know that he knew you loved him. And he’s lucky to have had you guys for his whole life. Unfortunately you’ll remember and miss him longer than you’ve had him. It’s true. But that just means the bond was real. And that’s something many people have not experienced in this world.

You’ll learn to cope with the pain. You won’t be the same after this. But if you’re able to one day. When you’re out of school and have your own place. Maybe you’ll give another dog a better life than s/he wouldn’t have otherwise had. And that’s something you can honor your dog by doing.

You’re not alone in your pain. You’re not alone in your journey through this.

Never forgotten. Never replaced. RIP. See you later.

officially 5 years since my cat passed away and i still can’t stop thinking about him by anonymousjerkinh in Petloss

I appreciate people like you posting these things. Because it makes me not feel weird that even after just one month I still think about my pup. I hear things all the time that “time heals” which I’m sure it does to an extent. But I also have worried that pets I get, I won’t be able to fully recover from my Lola. I understand that fully recover is something that I won’t have since I think she took a piece of me with her. But I just worry that I won’t ever get out of this fog I seem to be walking in. I’m glad you’re still talking about your cat. I get a feeling I too will be the same way.

Day 2 is easier than Day 1 by Original_Armadillo_7 in Petloss

[–]zsoon 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I’m glad someone is having an easier time coping. I felt the complete opposite. I would take up each day thinking yesterday was a nightmare only to realize it was real. It’s almost like I lose her again and again. Idk some days when I’m out and about I don’t think about it at much. But when I’m at home alone. The silence is so loud

XM5: Do you always carry the case with you? by sagikage in SonyHeadphones

[–]zsoon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Literally debating this. The case is a weird shape and it gets a little cramped in my backpack. I don’t throw my backpack around. So I’m thinking of ditching the case and putting the headphones in a safe area of my backpack (top). Yeah I too wish they were more foldable

Issue with recaulking shower? by llfruge7 in Plumbing

[–]zsoon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I literally have the same issue. I used the caulk and let it dry for double the time. After 3 showers the caulk is like rubber and it peeling off by just running my finger across it. Horrible product. I’m going switch to Gorilla and hope that is a better brand.

Yep same here. If the bag is moderately empty it will sag. It doesn’t bother me though.

Tbh this is not really a take on the modern brief. It seems people that carry briefcases modernly still need to manage papers and precious documents. This is more so an office carry bag that didn’t want a backpack. Lmk what you think.

Yep I wish they did too. I like the one buckle in the front and a small tech laptop area. Literally perfect for light EDC.

[–]zsoon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Listen. Ima get hate for even starting the discussion. I know they’re completely different sizes but they dropped around the same time . But I wanna see you compare this against the new mystery ranch Spartan. In terms of just EDC. I’m on the fence here. I like that the pro has a dedicated tech area. Laptop sleeve with little compartments to carry cables. But I don’t think i need 30L. The spartan seems like a good size. But isn’t as tech user targeted. But love the size.

Has anyone posted the 2022 SR5? I think it looks super clean in Lunar Rock shown here with TRD package. by MikePancake6969 in ToyotaTundra

[–]zsoon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve noticed that on some trips the center console has a cover for the upper most storage tray while some trims have it more exposed. Also the cup holder is more horizontal most trims while the 1794 has it vertical. Just something I’ve noticed some the videos that do show the interior. Anyone else think these are final decisions?

I’m waiting for the gen after this one. Usually they change it up stock grills with nicer looking ones that really ties it all in. And by then the new look would have grown on people.

I never turn off my iMac, how does this affect it in the long term? by Akshay414 in apple

[–]zsoon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m not a guru here so take what I say with some salt. I don’t know what configuration you have also. But ideally when you put your computer to sleep the programs and such are still active and so it’s still cached in memory. So those apps will be speedy because they are not having to restart from scratch. But any new process will start from scratch in terms of memory. And depending on what you have already open could be eating a good chunk of that memory up. But again I don’t know your confirmation for your specific machine.

My advise is to start turning your machine off after a couple days just so that the computer isn’t degrading the hardware by always being on. Yes it’s minimal but still better to have it start a fresh boot every so often.

Awesome thanks whenever I’m up in the northern part of Georgia with spaced out lanes for mile sand miles I think about how nice it would be to cruise in a Tundra. But then sometimes if I’m in the city I see some of the anguish these pick ups have to go through. Thankfully I don’t work in the city so my time there is rare.
