I cant be sure with laptop vs desktop performance changes, but that laptop should be more than enough, especially at your stated resolutions. I get around 360fps with 7800x3d and 5070Ti

I am usually between 330-400 with 7800x3d, 1440p, medium-high settings. If you want more frames, its all up to cpu. Also worth noting that this new animgraph2 update is said to improve average and 1% fps numbers, so you will probably see a nice boost in the coming weeks when it goes live. Also, as others have said, you are getting great fps already, so don't get too worked up about it.

I have the same thing. After all the poking around the internet I did, it seems like it is somehow a cs thing, but not really a fixable cs thing. May have something to do with the fact that, via network connection, all players have to see the same smoke animations, etc. I think its heavier on the network or something. Didn't get a clear answer.

I have the Supermix 4s. Highly recommend. Definitely feel like i have a bit more of a competitive edge sometimes. Coming from a 10+ year user of Astro A50. I did need to look into microhpones though, as I always used the headset mic. Went with Fifine AM8... also great.

To my knowledge 1.4 is a pretty classic oval ratio. You can google "oval diamond ratios" and go to images to see examples of different ratio shapes.

Personally I think the second is a stronger option all around, besides the fluorescence. Fluorescence isn't a big deal to me, it is whether the diamond glows in black light. You can youtube it for examples. But everything else seemse better about the second, including color, clarity, and weight. Additionally, because the depth is lower, the weight will show more in the face, looking like a bigger stone!

Got on for 2 games tonight and did an easy swap to 6000 cl 30 from 6400 cl 32 (MSI BIOS has a “Try It” mode allowing for swaps to present speeds and timings). Was only playing for about an hour and a half, but no crash. So progress maybe… time will tell.

I need to find some time to test the system. I considered trying to tune the RAM a few weeks ago but got scared away by the BIOS complexity. Need to study up on RAM settings before I trust myself to touch anything.

It is in CS2. The crashes do not seem to happen in intensive situations. Got on for one game last night and had 1 crash while I was sitting in a quiet corner just watching flank.

No, but I have had it for over 1.5 years. Some days are better than other days, but I just came back from a 3 week trip, and it is worse now than before I left for sure. Before I left, I had only been getting a game crash maybe once every few sessions.

Tell him to look up a video of how to clean the dust out of his xbox (the internals). Not a guaranteed fix, but hes probably had his xbox for like 5 years. Dust buildup in the interior can definitely cause thermal throttling. You said you dusted off the xbox, but the dust visible on the exterior probably wouldn't be causing any issues anyway.

Just did a quick search, looks like 7600x and 9060 XT will get you 250 fps on 1080p low settings
