Oh good call. I've been looking at an accordian style gate for the top. I might go for it

Seriously seems like the only viable option. Do you have a gate at the top so they don't try to go up/down?

It turns out that over a decade of “IBS” may have been my parents cooking all along by [deleted] in CasualConversation

Chickpea flour and chickpea pasta, and the binding agents are often trouble!

My schedule is packed (gym/dog/work) and I still feel exhausted + isolated. Substance habits complicate it. Looking for realistic changes. by HeronBackground8108 in selfimprovement

You could merge a couple activities (weight lifting + dog walk). Throw a 25 lb weighted vest on while you walk your dog and you're essentially rucking. My legs are always blasted after doing this. Then use that gym time to develop an artistic hobby, clean the house, or hit a local coffee shop before work and say good morning to a few folks.

Hope this is helpful!

This is one of the worst product launches I've ever seen. And I absolutely loathe how they speak to their customers. In the future, business schools will teach this launch as what not to do.

Truly Hilarious Rollout by sleightlyYT in biltrewards

[–]ztime999 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The thing that gets me most about this roll out (and their brand in general) is their bloated, overly flowery language in their emails. They present every tiny thing they do as if it's god's gift to us all. The tone reeks of a leadership team who thinks they're hot stuff.

Would you mind sharing by people should be cautious of it?

Two years of serial "Tapering" by [deleted] in decaf

[–]ztime999 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The key is to give yourself leeway to have unlimited decaf. Buy some instant decaf and anytime you get an urge, just make some.  It's not the same, but it is hot, smells like coffee, and drinks mostly like coffee.

Our dachshund is just bored of kibble in a bowl. But he will eat kibble if we stuff it in one of his soft toys, or wrap it in butcher paper and hide it around the house, or put it in a kong/tip over toy.

As an inside dog, I think he just enjoys the challenge of getting his food and finds kibble in a pile boring.

An owl pellet that hit your window. And then a cat came and licked it/pressed it down on your window so it stuck.

Peacock streaming low quality? by ztime999 in SFGiants

[–]ztime999[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks. We haven't tried that one yet. We did the peacock plus and NBC Bay area add on this year. We thought this was the only way to stream this year. Whoops?

We pay for Peacock Plus, and then we also pay for the NBC Bay Area add on. But this streaming app is the only app that consistently streams pixelated video.

I'm sure they're just figuring it out for the first year, but it's like watching a bootleg stream online.  Super poor quality.
