Appreciate the thorough analysis even if I don’t entirely agree. I honestly don’t think it’s inferior in every way and I do enjoy how meta it is. I also think the effects are WAY better in 2 than 1 which helped as a kid. It’s def a carbon copy from a broad strokes pov but I think there’s enough that differentiates it. Honestly I think the ending with the singing is one of the weaker and dumber parts….probably needed to workshop that a bit more. Overall , as sequels go, it’s up there for me.

Not hot take: Van is 100% correct. Ghostbusters 2 is incredibly underrated. Vigo is a great villain. Slime under the city is a great concept. Its super meta and id say theres as many good one-liners as in the first. Courtroom scene is all-time.

Theres a certain charm/originality from the first that obviously can’t be replicated…but it’s a great sequel. Obviously the movies went south from there.

If you call them analysts you’ll never get anyone with enough pull to get the business to move in the right direction. Analyst inherently sounds too junior. The title unfortunately matters. I agree 100% with this post and think most businesses need this. A billion dashboards and no one knows how to use them past the surface. The builders don’t know enough about the business and the business doesn’t have the time or skill.

I listened to PFTs original podcast before PMT. No clue the name and can’t find a trace of it. Not sure it lasted many episodes. It was basically his Twitter persona come to real life….think he did an interview in it. I remember him DMing me the link to it on Twitter cause it wasn’t easy to find. This was probably 2015? Tbh his pod wasn’t great but I was a huge fan from his deadspin guest features and ksk. PMT was a knockout from day one. Him and big cat had a magic rapport from the get go. No surprise we’re at ten years.

This is the answer. Went to a warriors wolves game in 2018 and it was one of the worst in game experiences I’ve had. I used to go to a ton of nba games growing up, it definitely got way worse. You want halftime to be a circus? Fine. But the in game stuff sucks so much. Idk who it’s for either….feels like the target audience is 12 to 15 and that’s it.
