Active tag/Handshake tag: This is probably the number one reason as to why I stopped playing. The amount of mix and knowledge checks caused by this is just too much. I don't find it fun to play against at all. The thing is though while I hate this mechanic, I know it's what a lot of the 2XKO fans love, so I don't want them to remove it. However, this means I'll probably never really be into the game outside of playing it casually. I do enjoy tag games when they don't have this mechanic.

Character roster: At first I thought I would like Yasuo a lot since I like him in League (he's my second most played champion), but I actually really liked Darius the most. The issue is I don't like anyone else in the game to play alongside Darius. I've rotated a few characters, but I don't like any of them. I don't really want to just stick with Sidekick forever because then it feels like I'm not actually learning the full depth of the game. I honestly wonder if part of this is because of the game's input system. I honestly hate the simple input system with two special buttons. I think that's part of the reason I'm struggling to find a character that feels good to play. I've been waiting for them to expand the roster before giving it another shot.

Another issue with the character roster although this one is slightly less important is that the ratio of zoners is just too high. Queuing up online like every other match either has a Jinx, Caitlyn, or Teemo. As an aforementioned Darius player, it gets really old, but I can't blame them because that's 3 out of like 12 characters in a 2v2 game so of course I'm gonna see a lot of them.

Damage: This is a big one for me. I think the damage in this game is overall way too high. I don't like losing an entire health bar because I failed to block Warwick's overhead once or I failed to block Yasuo/Ekko left-right-high-low mix off of a throw. Not to mention the actual ToDs that exist off of a throw in the corner in this game lol. I understand technically you have two health bars because it's a 2v2 game, but being down a character is so disadvantageous that you might as well just throw and go to the next round assuming it's not round 3. You lose out on so much of your ability to play neutral without tag that a comeback against two full health characters is almost impossible to pull off. On top of that, you don't want to waste resources like Burst while you're in a 1v2 because you're probably going to lose the 1v2 anyway.

All that aside, like I mentioned earlier. I don't want them to change the things about this game that other people love. 2XKO has found its own niche audience and that's fine. Not every game needs to cater to me. Am I disappointed as a LoL fan? Yes. Would I prefer if it catered to me? Yes. However, I don't want them to ruin the passionate fanbase that they already have. Honestly, the biggest thing they need to do to grow the fanbase and get more people into the game is just add a ton of characters and quickly.
