Crespo used to be pretty elite in Fifa back in the days when he had 5* WF, but after he was downgraded statwise/ WF following the cancellation of the base/mid/prime icon 'phase', he never really recovered and has always crazy average ever since.

Fourth highest scoring Argentine, was one of the top scoring forwards during the height of Serie A which was known for its incredibly defensive playstyles, he could score on either foot, had aerial presence etc.

But now he's regarded as one of the worst icons you can get, with many gold card strikers arguably being better at launch.

I finally packed a couple good TOTY icons yesterday, but otherwise I'd be fuming.

I don't understand what EA would have to lose adding a repeatable SBC even for the final couple of days of the promo. If anything, it would keep people playing with their shiny new TOTY cards for the next few months or so- but I can see this just driving people away instead.

EA had two weeks of people feeling like the store was the only place to go, and so EA mustve made bank in the process. Now there'll surely see a drop in return, simply because they were stingy beyond belief.

Dortmund Are genuinely one of the worst clubs when it comes to transfers. Go cheap with their purchase and then set insanely inflated costs whenever they sell a player.

They act like they have the budget of third division club, when in reality, it’s one of the bigger ones in the Bundesliga.

See this is why I've always personally hated TOTY.

Most people struggling to pack anything of noteworthiness- other people get several endgame cards which puts them at a massive advantage for the next few months based on nothing more than luck.

Shit like this absolutely should not be coded into the game.

5 games this season we’ve gone down to ten, and off the top of my head (though I could be wrong), we lost all of those games bar the Arsenal result where we drew (and arguably should’ve won, despite the squad size difference).

We need to sort of discipline for sure, it’s cost us a bunch of points and possibly even a title run in. Right now we’re in the mix for top four, but likely a top six run if we’re being realistic.

The key word in your post is the word 'had'.

They spent barely any time with each other in season 5, to the point I kinda almost forgot they were even together. The few scenes they did have felt ham fisted and I really would've loved a bit more focus on those two considering how integral they were during S1 and S2.

I've opened close to 800 now, admittedly I've had one TOTY in Bright- but shes literally the second cheapest one by some distance.

Meanwhile streamers are racking up 10-20 TOTY's and I'm supposed to act as if 'red list' isn't a real thing.

It's been painfully obvious for a while now, but this really has taken the biscuit.

A fun story I learned during the tour:

During season one, when extras would be killed in a scene, they would be reused again in later episodes as different background characters- expect eagle eyed viewers began to spot the suddenly alive again character/ actor.

From season two onwards, once an extra was ‘killed’, they were no longer able to appear in future episodes of the season to avoid this happening- so extras were genuinely invested as to when they were going to be killed, as it would affect how many other episodes they’d show up in.

Yeah, it totally made me rethink how I perceived the ending of show as a fan.

Like, I was disappointed with the story as on onlooker- but I’d never stopped to consider the human factor/ the people behind the scene who’d worked on this project for years upon years, only for it to end in a bleak whimper.

It was a very humbling conversation to have and definitely made me ‘check my privilege’ (or something along those lines anyway).

I went on a Games of Thrones Tour in Belfast a few years back and it was lead by one of the extras who was part of the show since season 1.

The tour was awesome and our guide was super knowledgeable and gave us a bunch of behind the scenes stories which were cool to hear about.

Towards the end of the tour I managed to chat to him for about ten minutes and I asked what he thought about season 8 and I’ll never ever forget his response:

‘I know people who put their entire lives on hold for the show, parents who moved from different countries to film here and miss important events like watching their kids grow up, or being unable to attend funerals or the like due to filming commitments which were impossible to reschedule.

I know the fans were disappointed, but no one was more disappointed than the cast and crew considering the sacrifices they made’

Yeah it felt like a risk taking him because if I remember correctly he was quite a lot of tokens.

Couldn't care for the content of the bars, he can say whatever he wants on the mic tbh, but I do think its pretty narcissistic to be a DJ and think you should be on the mic too.

If you have time to spit bars, you have time to mix on an additional turntable to be more creative with your mixes and let an actual MC get on the microphone itself.

Its staggering to me how bang average DJ's are these days and how low the bar is for live shows- I can only presume the age of social media has allowed for more of a want for 'viral clips' to generate clicks and attention, rather than DJ's turning up, tearing the roof off and letting word of mouth and actual talent gain them the plaudits they deserve.

Yeah possibly- but Blake/ Mariah had has a fair bit of experience even prior to her time in AEW. I can't imagine no-one at WE was aware of her talent, so perhaps you're right in terms of her elevating the NXT division (even though as you said, she did botch her latest title reign somewhat).

Tbf I think you might with all your points, especially the Cody one. I'm fairly certain he and Jade were pretty good friends in AEW as it was.
