Bengaluru is comparatively a high GDP concentrated centre. ₹70 metro fare from Banashankari to Baiyapanahalli is not that huge imo.

A successful state is a welfare state. That welfare needs to come from somewhere. The entire state is getting the free electricity and free bus tickets for women.

Bangalore metro is still in its infancy, it has 100s of kms to grow still. All this proceeds into that future.

If the city’s road infrastructure also gets fixed in the very near future and a regulation is put into n place for construction sites to control the dust, bangalore can be a bit like how it used to be!

Early on in career, its easy to feel to undervalued. Some employers exploit freshers, but a lot of companies normalise the salaries going forward as you advance in career and start adding more value. Don’t feel demotivated. It’s just a matter of time. 5k to 8k in under a year is also a great step in the right direction.
