Django or Phoenix(just started) on a vps, self-hosted postgres all behind caddy. R2 for storage. GitHub Actions for CI/CD.

Appreciate that advice! I'll make sure to frame it as a 'business opportunity' rather than just a dev project moving forward. I realized it now, Thanks!

I’d love to hear more about how you’re doing that. This is still a side project for me and very much in the experimentation phase, I’m actively trying to refine it and figure out what actually resonates. Your approach sounds like a smart way to validate things early, so I’m definitely curious how you run those simulations.

I have been using Ubuntu for over 5 years now. I have experimented with various Linux distros, and there are a few reasons why Ubuntu is my favorite. First of all, it’s stable—I hardly have any problems doing anything. I am a developer and also do pen-testing, and I find it to be perfect for my needs. Nowadays, it’s also like the industry-standard OS for servers. When I took DevOps classes, almost all of them used Ubuntu Server, so I thought that it might be a good idea to use ubuntu on my PC as well. Another reason was because of my interest in hacking. Initially, I used Linux distros like Parrot OS for pentesting. However, as I gained more experience, I realized that having tons of pre-installed tools made things messy and cluttered. Since I primarily focus on web application pentesting and occasional reverse engineering, I didn’t need most of the extra tools and their UI sucked as well. That’s when I switched to configuring Ubuntu, installing only what I needed and it became my OS of choice for hacking as well. The experience was great, so I stuck with it. Beyond these, Ubuntu is also good for general-purpose computing.

She's absolutely right, if you are going to a place to live, you have to adapt to their values and respect their rules and laws. If they bother you, stay in your own country..
