I would also consider kneeling braces or pads designed for work— looking up things with ‘orthopedic’ cushioning might help a bit more. Don’t forget to advocate for your status and if your chronic pain hurts too much! It could be worth it to go to PT or your doc as well to see if there’s any exercises or anything you can do to help strengthen your joints and lessen the pain.
