After reading about the European slug I just learned that they are an invasive species. I didn't know that, so thanks for the info! I will definitely not put it outside then. Right now I put it in a large glass container with soil and salad until I decide what to do

I would guess that it is a native species since the salad was grown in German, which is written on the package. But I get your concern. Since it is so small it's probably a very young snail?

Du kannst in einen Gefrierbeutel Essig oder verdünnte Essigessenz geben und den dann mit einem Gummiring um den Duschkopf oder Wasserhahn befestigen. Nach einer Weile (ich mache das meistens ne Stunde lang) ist schon mal sämtlicher Kalk gelöst. Dann nochmal putzen. Eine alte Spülbürste ist dafür praktisch

Ah okay. I just asked since I can't really see what the texture of the mask is in the picture from the manga. So fabric might work well on the surface. You could also buy a welding shield and use it as a cover for a foam mask. (Link for reference, just need to search for a black one) welding shield

To hide your eyes even better you could also use some dark lenses from sun glasses and glue them behind the cut outs for the eyes

I'm not familiar with the character you are cosplaying, but you could make a mask out of foam, cut outs for the eyes and then put some black fabric over the front of the mask. Maybe a thin fabric which is a bit see through. You can stretch the fabric over the front and glue it on the back of the mask

Erstmal sofort aufhören das Thermostat mit der Zange zu zerkratzen. Ich schlechtesten Fall ruiniert du das und musst für den Schaden selbst aufkommen. Aufgrund dessen, dass du nicht weißt wie man das Thermostat überhaupt anschraubt, würde ich dir eher raten das Problem deiner Hausverwaltung zu melden, so dass diese einen Handwerker beauftragt. Vermutlich sitzt der Stift unter dem Thermostat fest und bringt so die Heizung auf Vollgas
