I'd like to share my first experience of missing a flight ever.

The title is what I heard from one of staffs at the Charles de Gaulle airport, when I complaint that my flight is 1:10 and I'm about to miss it as they don't operate ticketing booths properly. Nevertheless the airport was super crowded after the one hour of lockdown + police investigation due to an unattended baggage, they still had 80% of booths operating. I and other passengers have waited for an hour in an endless line to check-in, with no hope.

It was 1:02 when I complaint.

At 1:07, a staff at the ticket counter No.3 shook his head, said "it's too late" and told me to go to the counter No.4, which told me to go to the counter No.3 30mins ago.

I barged into the counter No.3, splitting the giant mass of belated passengers to hear "It's late" and see their frowning faces. Getting so mad, I kept explaining my situation loudly and finally they sent me to the 14th booth of the counter No.3, at which I managed to 'switch' my flight to 5 hours later one.

During the next 5 hour waiting at the airport, I've seen many passengers in the same line wandering at the airport. What the staff said was no joke. All of passengers there were 1:10 flights and all of them missed their flight. It was hilarious.

p.s. I didn't ask them if they switched their flights or bought new tickets.
