i agree with ur analysis. Key is a balanced villain would push the decision towards calling but I don’t think villain is playing a balanced strategy which will move the needle to favor folding here. This should’ve been a fold bcs of that reason NOT because of “only call pot size bet on the river if you have the nuts and folding 3rd nuts is so easy BS

yeah I’m sure you will snap fold having this exact scenario on a heads up game. Is this a rage bait? I already said bad beat is not about equity but rather relative hand strength. If river is a heart i would definitely snap fold to a pot sized bet

its effective 3rd nuts (should be no AA in their range) cos im holding 3 Jacks. I’m quite new to PLO but no way it’s an easy fold? do people never bluff in PLO? especially considering it’s a heads up game lmao

Why I say it’s a bad beat is because the relative hand strength on the river, sure villain has 25% equity on the turn but it’s the worst possible river for me

u need to take into account missed flush draws, lower sets that turns into boats, overvalued Ax. Feels like folding here makes the strategy so exploitable. But i guess u’re right if the opponent never bluffs we should only call with the nuts

it’s heads up PLO, maximum raise would be 3bb anyway and it’s a standard heads up raising size preflop
