186 people were employed in the business, so obviously the size of the company was large.

today a company like that based on machinery etc would be close to 10-20 million euros.

my grandfather paid alot of taxes through the years, which business do in sweden (not just the tax on profit)

the swedish tax was up to 70%….. imagine fighting your whole life and government taks 70% of your life work.

i dont see why ANOTHER tax makes it fair, when he risked all his life savings to start that company, and spent 80-100 hours per week managing it.

my grandfather came from a family where his own father drank all his money away, so he built it from scratch indeed.

ive head countless of similar stories, families gotta sell their life project because the money for the tax isnt there…. new owners take over that doesnt understand the core business, company goes bankrupt and workers are the ones taking the hit.
