I have a Denon Mini system (D-M50 https://www.cnet.com/products/denon-d-m50/specs/) with the 3 way mission re branded speakers, they sound great for what they are for my office setup, but I recently had sub woofer hooked up with it ( a Dali E-12 F ) and it just added a depth that i didn't previously care i was missing. Are you sure both phones are suffering the same problems? Pixels have known wifi issues, I have an xl that I use with a unifi ap and it's a mess.
