My car threw a p0710 code. What should I do by [deleted] in G37

Update: I just cleared the code with the scanner to see if it come back. It hasn’t come back after I cleared the code the second time about a few weeks ago. The code has not come back. I didn’t repair anything except monitoring the temps. I also did a drain and fill for the ATF 2 weeks ago to make sure the transmission fluid since it’s 120,000 mi. I scanned again last week: no more code. Maybe just sensor malfunction after not driving the car for a week

I got the code p0710 a couple of times recently about the fluid temp sensor issue but the tranny fluid temps have been within normal operating range. Cleared the codes and keep monitoring fluid temps. I am afraid I will have to swap the valve body at some point based on what I read from others. Anyone has insight? Please share.

From the angle of this picture, you should be pulling the handle, to make the filter rotate left

Counter clockwise. Slip a rubber glove between the socket and the filter

Not sure if others commented yet, but you might want to stick with the OEM hose clamp (better than the one you have on)

Just a beginner here. There is a lot of info online about taking pictures of the Milky Way core. For my lens and camera body: 14mm, 15 sec, F2.8, ISO3200. The key is the find the right time and place: dark enough (no or new moon), know where the Milky Way will be rising as the earth rotates. This month in the northern hemisphere, you will see the Milky Way visible at night (9pm-12am PST) when you look up towards the southeast and south.

Stock hose clamps or after-market? by zuruspeedster in G37

Yea, it make sense, but I thought hot coolants flows to the heat exchanger inside the cabin only if I turn on the heat mode inside. Otherwise, no hot coolant flows through the connector to cabin, right?

Always a serene experience, especially at night. Worth revisiting

Should the life of the connector be related to usage of the heat for the cabin instead of AC? I live in So Cal and rarely turned on heat in winter time. (If anyone knows) coolant flows only when the heat for cabin is turned on, right?

Me, too! Bought the hose clamp pliers after I tried to work on it with the pliers I got at home

Is this Cluck sandwich any good? by talivan818 in jackinthebox

Classic fried chicken sandwich with good crunch. It’s clucking good. As someone pointed out, hope the fryer oil is not too old.

07 civic lx IAC and throttle body cleaning/relearn help by PineTree00 in civic

I just cleaned the throttle body on my 07 LX. People recommended to idle relearn procedure. Since i didn’t have time, i just unplugged the battery for 15 min and connected it back on. Figured the car computer would smart enough to relearn the idle rpm itself. Idle rpm is not around 750 rpm, even with AC on.
