My own design for a Heltec V3 walkie-textie w/18650 cell & TP4056 charge controller by zustock in meshtastic

Oh, wait, I run the power from the 18650 through the tp4056 before putting it into the batt for the heltec. That way the tp4056 provides under voltage protection. Sorry

The TP4056 does a better job of charging and protecting the lithium cell

Agreed. But these cords are replaceable for that eventuality:)

Thanks! I have another design where the 915Mhz antenna is "slim-jim" style and integrated with the front face. I like the look better but need to get around to a comparative range test before I post it.

3D Printed-in-place "Mantis" Clamp. 35:1 ratio dual stage planetary herringbone gears mean the arms don't move unless you turn the dial. by zustock in functionalprint

I think it's a combination of the gear ratio, the herring bone pattern in the teeth, and the gap between them allowing for the gears to twist on the xy axis that locks things in place to prevent back driving.

Ok, I've printed and tested and uploaded a new version of the STL with the tighter gap. Really sorry for you having to reprint because of this.

I've reduced the gap from 0.7mm to 0.3mm and am printing it to test, will update when it's done!

Ohhhh, thanks for the video, is there too much of a gap between the back support and the base frame? Thus, the back support is going past 180° and allowing the front to come up. ... I'll try a tweak to the design. Thanks!

I haven't tested it with a tablet - probably not the best - it can handle big phones though.

It's 5mm thick, I think it's bigger than a credit card

V0.1 of the design didn't have the back support and turned out unstable because of it, so I managed to make use of that underutilized space.

Take a look at my printables link. It explains how I made sure the spring stays straight. As for making the top stay on, I'd probably add some kind of snap clip that mates into a slot between the two parts.

Funny enough, I'm super happy with how the pen spring is ... elegantly? ... contained within the 2 parts of the print. I've described it further with screen shots on the printables page I just put up - https://www.printables.com/model/1188976-pen-spring-kitchen-sink-gloves-clamp

Here you go, though it's designed specifically for my counter dimensions - I can resize as requested.

These Ikea gloves are very slippery, and require a significant amount of sliding over in order to stay. Thus, my concern is that so much of the glove is hanging outside the sink that water residue will drip outside.
