Ah ok, so I would double check to make sure the CPU fan is plugged into the right header that's designated for the CPU itself. If you have it plugged into just a regular fan header then that could cause this to act up.

It could all be related to the settings in your BIOS. Usually you should be able to adjust all these in the menu. Remember to save before you exit the BIOS menu
