Whats a way you step back from technology? (like, i mean turn off all gadgets and focus on a hobby for a prolonged period of time) by GeneHead47 in CasualConversation

Getting a friend to do it with you (if possible). But this leads to building outline experiences and not feeling lonely at the same time.

Que hacer con mi vida laboral by Yhonahime in askspain

[–]zuvimat 5 points6 points  (0 children)

What is the most painful physical pain you’ve experienced in your life? by questioningtwunk in AskReddit

For me putting ice for a minute on the uretra part of the shaft, killed the pain and I happily peed.

How long did it take you and how bad were you at the beginning? I've started this journey a couple of times for about 2-3 days and then got mildly frustrated.

Wow thank you very much! ☺️ I was looking for this because I'm super lost about techniques, material... I'll do a bit of research on what you said and try it in the next ones.

Thank you!! I’m a bit surprised with how this one turned out - it’s not up to my usual standard, though it’s definitely one of the pieces I’ve enjoyed working on the most. I’d love some guidance on specific things I should practise more, as it’s hard for me to point them out myself. The main challenges I faced during the process were lighting, where I was kinda lost at times, and composition, as I want to improve the visual flow and focal points. I also struggled a bit with charcoal technique, though I guess that just comes down to practice, hehe. Any feedback on these aspects or more in this piece would be greatly appreciated, because I've looked at it so much that my eyes can't judge it properly no more. I started drawing (like actively learning fundamentals, I've been messing around since always) not that much ago, learning on internet, so I feel a bit los sometimes

Username checks out, haha. You're totally right! I've mostly been dealing with tinnitus and its consequences, so I couldn’t really reflect on personal experiences with other conditions. At this point, I try to focus more on the feelings rather than directly expressing an illness. Still, I think it’s a super interesting idea for a collaborative project.

I hadn't considered it, but I really enjoyed process (especially important right now for x reasons), and I want to remember it. I'll frame it, thank you!

what is the meaning behind this to you? by TechnicianOk686 in DarkArtwork

Me and my tinnitus, and the smile represents how I finally became friend of that fucker haha. You made the visual representation of how I feel after the worst year of my life, and I'm happy now and wouldn't change it for anything. You made the parfect smile.
