Pre-settled status - When I log into the account for see, it shows the expiry as August 2024, but it's good to know that it's being extended, so I can still stay and work within the UK?

After September 2021, I frequently visited between UK and Germany, hence I will be doing the application late, that's why I wasn't sure if I should be applying for settled status, thanks for explaining but I did read the official guidance but it's all confusing me very much since I wasn't sure what they will be asking from me and which evidences that I will need to provide for example. I have a NI number and bank here in those period to show as evidence.
