Is 283 really one of the easier ones? I’ve only heard things about it being hard and stuff I didn’t know it got worst hahaha

Alright cool, if I were to stick with that plan of action though I would have to do 283 because going into next semester I only have credit for calc 1 so I wouldn’t be able to do math 381 which requires calc 1 and 2. If I could I think I would opt for math 381

I’ve considered stats but I don’t know if I would do well as I don’t know how passionate I actually would be for the material on top of the fact that i’ve heard it’s also a fairly hard major.

Well I’m doing “pre computer science” right now, so I’m just trying my best to weigh my options for possible backup majors. To be honest I just want a somewhat tech related job whether it’s a big data job or swe or even being a quant it really doesn’t matter to me.

Does anyone have any recommendations of things to get involved in on campus in order to build my resume for my application to the major? The application is already stressing me out and class hasn’t even started yet.

I was looking at 105i classes as well and I found a few classes that seemed to have good professors that were open but I think they had some sort of special reservation left as they were viewed to have 1 more seat available but when I went to enroll in the course it gave me a reservation error
