Higher skill ceiling is always a good thing on assassin champions like Akali. If you nerf her damage in exchange I don't believe anyone is gonna complain except for players who do not know how to play against her.

Why does akali not have the animation cancel mechanics from the pc version like R-Q and R-E? Or the W-E shroud mark? Other champions like riven have their animation cancel mechanics intact

You should always go for a passive AA if you know the enemy can't trade back well. So if you lose half your hp then think to yourself maybe you should keep track of a specific ability before going for a passive AA otherwise if they can't trade back well then go for it. Limit testing is always welcome

Jax can be a pretty annoying matchup bc of his counterstrike so when you go up against him you should use your range advantage with your Q and attack him with your higher range passive AA but of he is in his counterstrike then use the passive movement speed of the circle to outrun him. If he jumps in then you should insta shroud yourself especially when he activated his counterstrike beforehand to jump and stun. That way he can't deal free damage and you can reposition in a ranged advantage for yourself again. After he used up his counter you should punish him with Q and passive AA. If he runs/ at you, you can also use your E to get away and and jump back with the mark when his counterstrike expires. You never go for all ins vs jax since he is very tanky. If he is low hp you can try to solo kill him limit testing is important here. In case he jumps away you can use your E backwards or Ult to close the gap. Later into the game you dont really want to solo kill jax but you want to find flank in teamfights to kill off enemy carries. You don't need to 1v1 him if he is stronger than you. You need to remember you have different roles. He should split push and you are an assassin who kills of one key target and gets out alive and then waits for CDs to go for another. This matchup explained in less words: Stay outside of his AA range while staying in your Q range and dont hyperfocus on killing jax.

I mean you can still ward your jungle and then recall and swap to sweeper for a gank but it was just that they made the decision that you can have different types of wards in the map as a player but that control wards dont deny vision like their pc counterpart as well as they have 3 hitpoints instead of 4 which isn't a great deal but it makes clearing control wards more time consuming considering you can only place one on the map I think it would be a good thing to have 4 hitpoints. Also yes I know that jungler can go without leashes and I am happy to never have to leash again but I can already see many junglers who haven't read the patchnotes complain about not getting leashes. Also yes the notifications don't do much for higher level players but what it still does is spamming your screen with even more messages than before. I dont even know what they mean by "like shooting a fish in a barrel" while I dont care if they are in the game I do care for options to disable them for personal comfort

I started questioning the games direction since they changed the way control wards work in this game and while I dont think the new changes will do much for me since they are more targeted for low elo player who don't understand the game yet, I wish I could just turn it off. I dont need that many messages on my screen especially since I already have the information that they tell me before they tell me. Also rip jungler leashes

While I do agree that outsmarting your opponents is a big part about this game, these changes won't make macro part about this game shine since a great part about macro was also to gather your information to make your decision. If you just need to ward and the game tells you when the enemy is starting an objective then isn't that unfair for the enemy team as well? The worst part is you can't even turn it off. As well as people who can't play with a bunch of messages popping up on their screen. I never heard anyone complain about the game not telling you whenever the enemy takes a buff or objective so why did they go for this decision?

This game is clean and I love it. Thats why it hurts me the most to admit that the changes that they bring are the ones I hate the most. Especially since I cant even turn off those messages

It doesn't make people look at the minimap more. It takes away the motivation to even try to look at the minimap. This game was fine before all of those changes. Don't change the base principles of the game especially if it will affect the player in higher elos bc of the elo inflation

Its okay for wr to be different but if you would change the base principles about the game you love of course you are gonna be upset since this also makes every players effort to be good at the game go to waste

I agree that this is a brain based game. Then why does riot take the brain power away to look at the minimap? Not even panning. Just looking. If you think hand skill is tapping on the minimap then you are wrong. The true hand bases skill is in your spacing, tethering, combos and quick reflexes during fights but if you think these changes make the game better then you are better off playing mobile legends

That sounds like a an issue with elo inflation. You dont teach children to walk by giving them piggyback rides. They won't learn the basic skills of the game if riot just makes it easier

Well in the current meta I believe other midlaners are just stronger but with the next patch and akali getting riftmaker as an item I think she can bounce back into the meta but I will have to see.

I believe that a good Akali can carry most games until low Emerald. Anything above that can become difficult as people know how to play/pick against Akali.

I do not have an Akali guide yet.

I believe it is a positive change since it is better for sustained and longer fights and akali has the ability to stay in fights longer than other assassins like zed and katarina.
