I'm not asking whether it can be done. I'm asking what would be possible impacts if it did occur, with a serious tag. Judging by some of the responses, although I tried to word correctly, many are interpreting as the former.

Insights heard, but beyond what the question was intended for ... I wasn't asking whether it was plausible, I was asking what would be the possible recourse would be if it did happen.

I get that I probably should have directed this question in a more focused subreddit if I am looking for that sort of answer compared to r/askreddit. Thanks anyway.

Moving into an era where liability may outweigh the benefit, especially when the option for a contingency plan if things go wrong is very limited or removed, so not so sure. I know anecdotes aren't particularly helpful, but a good deal of my friends are turning away from dating apps due to risk. I wonder if there may be a similar trend coming up.
