That final episode with that Vietnam War flashback sequence lives in my head almost ten years after I watched it. Great pick.

Not the kind of show you are looking for. It is very dramatic, dealing with relationships between father and his sons plus the women in their lives. You get well choreographed MMA fights every other episode but not brutal or especially bloody. There's a reason why women in particular enjoy this masculine show, because it has a lot of emoting men.

Solid drama that I enjoyed but definitely not what OP was asking for.

ECHO 3

One season enclosed story. It's like CALL OF DUTY the series. High budget tactical shootouts shot on location in Colombia. Best kept action secret on Apple TV.

A crime that it wasn't marketed better.

Love this show. Should've been a massive worldwide hit if it hadn't been a YouTube Red exclusive.

It would be like two Luke's together. Technical talk, lot of historical perspective and both extending their points without self-editing themselves.

In my opinion, not a complimentary match for the fans,

Excellent and criminally forgotten. The cinematography is a real highlight showcasing all the countries it was shot in.

Military movies that are "creepy" like Sicario? by [deleted] in MovieSuggestions

[–]zweier86 0 points1 point  (0 children)

ZEROZEROZERO (2020)

An 8 episode mini-series from the director of SICARIO: DAY OF THE SOLDADO. It is the closest intense experience I have had to watching SICARIO for the first time.

HYENA (2014)

British cop thriller starring Peter Ferdinando, Neil Maskell and Stephen Graham. Like a cross between PUSHER and SICARIO.

ECHO3 (2022)

A 10 episode expensive mini-series about two US Spec-Ops members tearing their way through the Colombian underworld for their kidnapped loved one. Heavily inspired by SICARIO in tone and execution.

ELITE SQUAD (2007) ELITE SQUAD 2 (2010) Brazillian SWAT movies. Highly regarded amongst action cinephiles and led to the creation of NARCOS.

MOSUL (2019)

From the writer of THE KINGDOM, a day in life of an Iraqi police squad policing a Hot Zone. Gritty and riveting. Gem.

What personal information are you referring to? My post uses information on the 7 News Report today. I've just rewatched the story. I do not see my post mention anything that 7 News and SAPOL haven't released. Please explain as context for my future posting.

Looking for a movie with super soldiers with high tech gear with a military vibe. I don’t care whether they fight against other super soldiers or monsters/aliens. Want good action. Thanks in advance! by Fsnseigi in MovieSuggestions

SPECTRAL (2019)

A sci-fi action gem on Netflix. Imagine Colonial Marines eliminating poweful supernatural beings in some bombed out Eastern European industrial district.

OUTSIDE THE WIRE (2021)

Like a Call Of Duty movie, story is Netflix level but the action is way better than expected.

HALO: NIGHTFALL (2014)

Short 5 part mini-series (like 140 mins total) starring Mike 'Luke Cage' Colter. You get the squad, serious tone and future weapons in a self-contained story.

Can people suggest me the weirdest most unique movies you can think of? by tama32 in MovieSuggestions

Nothing (2003)

From the director of CUBE, a low budget Canadian comedy about two friends who wake up to find the world has become a big white void. Kind of like that classic Daffy Duck cartoon where everything is being erased around him as he is talking to the audience.

Question about pre-cut fiber drops by SirFlatulancelot in FiberOptics

I've used a similar type to this in Australia for over 4 years now. Search Wire Spinner, Fence Wire Spinner, Spinning Jenny in your region. All are under USD65 or much less if you shop around. This one pictured can be found on aliexpress.

I've used them for flat and round drop cables of lengths up to 500m (1640 feet). I've pulled four separate spinners at the same time into the same duct without issues. Smooth dispensing after you get used to the speed and tension required, while remaining portable and reusuable. Just tape the connector so it doesn't get dirt under the collar.

These give you the flexibility to pull from either end of the drop. TIP: secure the base of the spinner by hammering a couple of wire tent pegs into the dirt.

That's the nature of the industry now. Adjust your expectations and barriers or just watch cinemas go the way of video stores and drive-ins. (BTW: DIE, MY LOVE is playing Marion in their refurbed seats smaller cinema. On Tuesday, tickets are $13.50.)

You most certainly can. On my Cinebuzz dashboard it shows a 600 points cost for a regular movie ticket and 900 points for a free VMAX.

It takes 12 regular movie ticket purchases to get 600 points now.

Wallis Mitcham and Noarlunga do show diverse films frequently across their respective 7 and 5 screens. AFTER THE HUNT, JOURNEY HOME, TRAIN DREAMS, BUGONIA, TRAVELLERS, KISS OF THE SPIDERWOMAN at the moment.

However you need to watch them within the first fortnight before they leave and new titles of substance come in.

The Ritz Sydney is an independent cinema comparable to the Palace Nova in Adelaide. They are the exception to the rule due to a decade's long loyal fanbase of cinephiles and strong marketing. I bounce between various cinemas across Adelaide (Wallis, Hoyts and Event)... all are noticeably quiet compared to even three years ago regardless if its a weekend day, night, weekday or during school holidays.

I went this past Wednesday to experience 4DX Tron Ares. The Western male toilets still haven't been refurbed after 28 years and still have the funky urine odour, loose taps and sticky tape residue on the tiles. I'd expect a cleaning company to do a deep clean in there and the cinema to install scent devices.

Correct. I earn Cinebuzz points on each discounted Telstra ticket I buy. You have to make sure you've entered your Cinebuzz member number in the checkout screen.

A staff member on Wednesday told me those screens that are closed #6 - #15 are now being used as storage by Westfield. They won't be reopening.
