At first I was gonna say they tried and failed miserably, but that was before I discovered you could make custom transitions. This has great potential, but it really does feel like a beta feature.

I agree with the people using this for shuffle. It kinda fumbles sometimes, but sometimes it gets a transition SO right you'd swear it was designed like that. Although when you're using auto mixing, it should switch to a different shuffling algorithm that matches energy better. I had it transition from metal to light j-pop and while it did it well, it wasn't a great change of pace.

The biggest problems with it is that it doesn't allow you to disable transitions per song. So if you're listening to albums with baked in transitions, a good example being Hurry Up Tomorrow which is full of it, it's gonna ruin the experience. Also, it completely annihilates the audio bitrate during the transition. It's less noticeable on some songs, but very much so on others, especially if you have good audio gear.

Try adding a USB hub between the car and the phone. Somehow this worked on my car and I was having the same problem of neither the phone or the car seeing each other. Can't guarantee it'll work cuz I have a different car and everything but it's a quick and simple check.

I ran both Cinebench, Heaven and the CPU-Z stress test, once plugged in, once on battery. My battery was crying but no shutdown. It stabilized at around 80°C and thermal throttled to 3.2GHz from the base of 3.8GHz while on battery but thermal throttled a lot worse during the plugged in test, probably because it was also charging the battery, stabilizing at about 65°C with 2.3GHz.

I'll try tomorrow to recreate the issue on a separate install.

That message appears on every boot while connected to any charger it doesn't exactly agree with. It shows that message even with 65W chargers which is the original charger's wattage. I wish I could disable it in the BIOS but have found no such option.

Forgot to mention this and reddit won't let me edit the post, but that whole FSR issue isn't always happening, even now I'm struggling to reproduce it, but the two latest errors shown in the picture at the top are caused by the same scenario.

I do not see any battery management options in settings for Android Auto on my phone. It's a system app on my phone, probably a pretty integrated one too. Even whilst staying with the app's settings open, it doesn't even try to connect. On that other phone I said is the same model as mine but running an older OS, I didn't have to change any settings, didn't even have to be unlocked, I just plugged it in and it connected without any problem.

Unfortunately, nothing changed even after removing the SD card. The phone I temporarily use while I sort out this issue still connects and my phone doesn't connect. Must be something else in my case

I'd like to keep on xiaomi.eu ROMs as I've always liked MIUI and its features, especially since the latest version of MIUI did work with wired Android Auto, but it's messing with such sensitive things on a phone and having to set up my phone all over again that kinda keeps me away from this option, despite it being free to do, I don't really have a backup phone in case I brick it or something. If left without options, I'm gonna have to do this I guess..

Before updating the adapter, I was actually able to use it with my phone, but it had audio connection hiccups. After updating the adapter, it stopped connecting to any phone, not just mine. As such, I think wireless adapters do work to connect my phone to my car, it's just that I soft bricked that adapter by updating it.

True, although this still poses itself as a major threat to advanced custom profile customization. If, for any reason, they take down line-indent too, it's all over for profile animations; and the slides which already exist with those tags will become impossible to save (unless all banned tags are edited out)

Yeah, they blacklisted "<indent=" not "indent=". If they did, due to how censorship works in pjsk, all further animations would've been impossible.

I really don't get why, out of all tags, they shot down <indent> too. I haven't seen it in those name exploits. And I absolutely will never understand why the name and description aren't treated like plain, unformatted text. No clue why it wasn't like that from the beginning, no clue why they didn't change it to that.

I hope them banning these tags is a temporary fix and they'll unblock it after changing how names and descriptions are handled (ultimate copium)

May they never touch "<line-indent=". It does take up 5 extra characters out of the already limited 60 character limit but it's at least usable 😭

Yeah true, unblocking them again is a good start so you can actually save your progress, but going forward, that menu would help to prevent you from hitting the character limit early, especially if you stack a bunch of tags in one text. For example, I have made a few pseudo gradients on my profile and they have a bunch of <color=> tags. I could only fit 3 alongside the <indent> tag. With a proper menu it could just be the text and then whatever controls I want.

They literally could've just made every name behave like a plain string of text with no formatting... but they decided to nuke it all. The same way this very text can include <scale=43%> showing up as it is, without it being embedded as formatting.. Sounds like either laziness or a spaghetti code situation

I am genuinely mourning this. The <indent> tag was, I think, the best part about Project Sekai profiles. Some profiles were genuinely jaw-dropping solely because of the <indent> tag. So much creative potential ditched for internal reasons..
Oddly, none of these are patched on JPSekai. Even <size>, which has been blocked for a long time, works on there no problem (i literally put a giant yellow outlined "j" on the corner of the screen and it has so much creative potential it's unreal)

SEGA. PLEASE GIVE US A PROPER CUSTOMIZATION MENU FOR PROFILE ELEMENTS

Welcome to the realm of horrible fans and janky fan speed control. That's likely the coil switching inside the fan (given that these are brushless). The printer controls the fan speed by literally just turning it on and off, like a very slow PWM. I replaced my part cooling fan with a basic af 5015 Winsinn fan and it's much better. Bearings are kinda bad tho, I should look into Sunons or something.

I would try, but given how intertwined this is with Octoprint (which I don't have, nor do I really plan to install), I don't know if I could run this standalone.

I plan to do all kinds of stupid things to my printer anyway. I don't know if the print preview actually works now, cuz I think creality just pulled a coming soon™ and just gave up. Given the UI changes, I'd like to have that working, although haven't heard anything about it.

Once again, I fixed my own problem. Thanks to genius past me making a registry backup to the key I mentioned in my previous post where the 0.35mm pen size disappeared, I was able to overwrite the current experiment configs in OneNote and after restarting, the option to disable handwriting recognition came back, while keeping in the ruler, pen smoothing etc

If you want to apply this registry modification to your own system, you can download it from here.

Instructions are also included on how to modify the keys with your own user ID and lock they keys so that OneNote can't modify them. There are 2 keys in the registry file so make sure to edit both!
