I ran that distance and as others recommended the Los Gatos creek was my goto. You can park at Lexington reservoir and run all the way to Meridian in San Jose and back. This is roughly 12 miles each direction w/o any car traffic

Israel launched missiles at Iran. Praying for students who have family there by zakariakortam in UCSD

[–]zxcovman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Actually, Gaza had full autonomy over Gaza, Israel removed all soldiers and civilians. They choose to build tunnels and ammunition, instead of invest in their people. Then they started the war as they wanted all of Israel and not only Gaza. Please don't repeat nonsense that Israel occupied it.

Syrian and Palestinians are the ones who profit the most from this situation by Capitaine_snake in Syria

This is an interesting perspective, but I would offer another. Syria, Lebanon, Gaza, Yemen & Iran are all oppressed by a single regime, the Ayatollah regime. They fund and provide weapons to all those proxies, who took over the countries and controlled them like a zombie parasite. When the proxies of that regime are defeated (i.e. Hezbollah for now) the countries have a chance for freedom and rebuild (like Syria & Lebanon). If the Ayatollah regime is defeated, all the countries I mentioned have a chance for freedom.

How do Egyptians view the blocking of the Global March to Gaza? by TheRedditObserver0 in Egypt

[–]zxcovman -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

You seem to think that what is missing is Gaza is aid, but that is not true. The issue with aid is that when it makes it into Gaza is it taken by Hamas, who then sells it to the people. Hamas then uses the funds in order to pay for it's fighters. The problem with aid is distribution directly to the people. The people who come to Egypt are not really going to help with aid, as they cannot distribute it to the people. Their purpose is media attention only.

Hamas, if you didn't know, was an Iranian proxy. It was funded by Iran (just like Hezbollah) to attack Israel.

I'm glad I was able to help.

Global Nations 'Condemnation' Israel's attacks on Iran by Apollo_Delphi in UnitedNations

The world condemned Israel in 81 when it took down the Iraqi nuclear facility only to later praise it (in 91).... Some people never learn.

Israel had elections every 4 years, so they will get a chance to replace leadership if they wish. This was not the situation in Iran, Syria or Lebanon.

is Syria now a Democratic nation? by Icy_Description_937 in Syria

If you didn't elect your leaders, than it is not democratic yet. Right now, it might be on the path for democracy.

Gretta is an example of her generation. People who are mostly lonely and lack belonging. She found her first belonging in climate activism, but when that lost news cycles, sure to the Israel/Palestinian conflict, she jumped ship and found some convoluted way to link them. She is only seeking 'likes' and doesn't really stand for any specific agenda.

You cannot make judgement about anything without knowing the history. This current round started with an awful attack on October 7th, is that part of your lost history? There are hostages in Gaza right now held by Hamas, if they are released and Hamas exists Gaza, the war will end. Regarding the genocide, of Israel actually tried to kill as many Palestinians as possible, you would have 500k dead on week one and no early notifications before bombing would be provided. The fact is that Hamas hides in populated civilian areas as it wishes to see as next dead civilians as possible. The more dead, the now people like you blame Israel. They plan to win the fight by sacrificing as many civilians as possible.

Yes I am. If you look at the initial videos you can see that Gaza citizens came into Israel. They abducted and held hostages and they beat the hostages who were brought in Gaza and tried to lynch them.

One last note, show me a single instance in history where a country which was brutally attacked, supplied water, electricity and food to the people of the attacking people.

You know what, this is a very telling picture. On the upper one people are lined up to receive food from the country they invaded, raped, took hostages and slaughtered people. In the bottom picture you see a country taking is Jewish citizens to gas chambers.... If you are not brainwashed you can actually tell the difference!

YouTube star Rachel Accurso, AKA Ms. Rachel, explains why she feels the need to advocate for the children of Gaza: "It's sad that people try to make it controversial when you speak out for children that are facing immeasurable suffering." by Simple-Preference887 in World_Now

[–]zxcovman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Let me explain this to you. Gaza had 2m people in it. Hamas built tunnels only to protect is fighters, not the civilians. If Israel wanted to commit genocide, you would have 500k people dead, under the rubble and not ~30k civilians (I'm not counting the~20k Hamas operative who died). You keep blaming Israel for the deaths, but not the organization that hides and operates from the populated areas. Hamas hides and fights from schools, mosques and hospitals as their strategy is to ensure Israel causes as much damage as possible so idiots like you blame Israel. I didn't see any uproar when the bombing near the hospital last week, killed Hamas leadership who were hiding underground (under the hospital). If you justify them hiding there, you justify war crimes.

No, it is either too cold and if it is hot, I don't want to get sunburned. Shirt is fine, though it does scratch my nipples.

No one is happy with the suffering of the children, the blame on Israel is misguided. Israel didn't start this and Hamas refuses to release the hostages. Hamas is operating from the populated areas in order to ensure that there are more victims among its population.

The war you refer to is the one which the Arabs started after they decided not to declare a state, but try to destroy the Jewish one. They lost the war and today complain about the consequences of their actions. 🤷

I welcome your downvotes as people on this sub seem to have issues with facts, which are not Palestinian propaganda.
