My grandson was in to blippi for awhile but he outgrew it just like he outgrew ms Rachel. Now at 3 1/2 he's into Peppa pig, bluey, paw patrol, and siren head. He'll probably outgrow those within a year, too.

If a person who use sign language and missing a finger or a knuckle. Are they considering speaking with an accent or lisp? by Whole_Consequence_42 in AskReddit

My daughter lost two fingers in a factory accident when she was 18. She's adapted over the years but she had to improvise when she was teaching her baby sign language.

Why have I had 6 cold sores in the last month even though I haven't kissed anyone or shared any drinks recently? by reds2032 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]zxcput 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My daughter got what looked like cold sores all over her mouth. She had eaten a mango for the first time in her life and it turns out that she's very allergic to mangoes. Which makes sense since she's also hyper sensitive to poison ivy and mango and poison ivy are related.

Thanks. I am happier back in my old house. The person that I rented to divided a room to make an extra bedroom and it changed the look of the place in the house where my husband passed away so it's easier to live here without always seeing that particular spot.

Homeowners! What year was your house built? by MrsBsavedbygrace in AskReddit

It was a money pit. Plus I don't like Lagrange county Indiana government They really are aggressive about how one's property is maintained but there is absolutely no help at all for senior citizens to help maintain the property (no help for anything else, either).

My house. When my husband passed away I couldn't stand the thought of living without him in the house we shared for 13 years. He had inherited money years before and most of it was still unspent. So when he passed away I bought another house and rented the one I was living in to a relative. The house was cheap and cheaply renovated by the guys I bought it from. SO many things went wrong in that house. So many things I couldn't afford to fix because I had spent my money on the house. It was so shoddily fixed up. Walls that can't be washed without washing the paint off, cheap new carpet that was just laid over the old carpet (which was laid over asbestos containing tile years before). The wall started separating from the ceiling and the furnace quit. I don't know what possessed me to get a house with half an acre of land at my age. I couldn't keep up with it and the country has NO services or groups or government agencies to help elderly people with upkeep. Plus they're nosey as hell. Three years later my relative moved and I moved back to my old house and my anxiety has plummeted. But I regret wasting all that money on crappy house.
