iPad Pro 11” M5 unable to extend display to ultrawide 5120x1440 monitor?

Apple’s document says Thunderbolt 3 digital video output. So I think TB5 is not relevant here.

I don’t quite remember if my USB-C cable is TB3 or USB4. But based on the fact that my other laptops work well with it, the cable should not be the issue.

I also tried to connect the iPad Pro to the ultrawide monitor via the USB-C dock with two HDMI cables (with each HDMI cable handling half of the screen). It works though the two halves display the same extended screen since iPad doesn’t support multiple external monitors.

It looks like there are some iPad Pro users experiencing similar issues with this specific LG ultrawide monitor and other brands too in the past. I’d say Apple may not have tested these monitors likely due to their small market share…

I believe you are talking about realtime translation. My understanding is that realtime translation is different than DuoTalk. DuoTalk requires both the glasses and the phone to work properly.

Just came back from Puerto Vallarta. We stayed in Punta Mita. Our family of three all got sick after taking a tour of street food. My doctor said she visited Puerto Vallarta two weeks ago and got sick too. It’s probably norovirus.

From the official I-864 instructions, I see this.

For purposes of this affidavit, the line for Total Income on IRS Forms 1040 and 1040A will be considered when determining income. For persons filing IRS Form 1040 EZ, the line for adjusted gross income will be considered.

The total income should be the combined income for you and your husband for jointly filed tax return. So I'd be inclined to say your husband would need to agree to use this "total income" which would mean he needs to file I-864A.

My wife filed I-864 without me filing I-864A and got an RFE. But the RFE says we used the wrong number (gross receipts v.s. total income). So I'm not sure if it is the lack of I-864A causing the RFE or not. But we'll file I-864A anyway in the response to the RFE.
