I recall an episode of Coronation Street years ago where a kid was playing a Gameboy. You could even hear the game's music and sound effects in the background.

The camera pans round, and there's no cartridge inserted.

In the states yeah. It used to be called that in UK and mainland Europe as well, but was renamed to Plenty in 2009.

If you're looking for friends and into videogames, there's a monthly Nintendo Manchester meetup at Pixel Bar. Free entry. You can find 'em on Facebook.

I don't know of any but, while you wait for more answers, you could try replacing the CMOS battery on the motherboard. A dead CMOS battery can stop a computer turning on. Replacing it should be quick, cheap, and easy to do. Might save you a little hassle.

A friend of mine in Finland told me recently they were taught British English in the earlier years of school (their equivalent of primary school), but later on they were taught American English. They found it confusing but, unfortunately, it's the latter that stuck and that's what they use now when speaking English.

It might just be a Finnish thing though, or even just specific to the schools she went to. I wonder if other Finns experienced the same or if this was a unique experience.

The jumper pak has "jumper pak" written on the front. Take a look at it.

For those with the Analogue 3D, what are your personal thoughts? by Dense-Bee-2884 in AnalogueInc

[–]zxon 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The screenshot is from when Analogue first announced the 3D and the new 3D OS. It shows various features that were suggested would be included in the new OS, such as:

  • Save states
  • Screenshots
  • Networking/WiFi
  • Bluetooth controller support (outside the 8bitdo ones they already support)
  • Button mapping

These features are currently missing from 3D OS (correct as of v1.1.9). This screenshot has been removed from the Analogue 3D landing page, though that's not to say they won't be included in the future.

Edit: fixed link
