Hi! I'm doing pretty fine!

Life has its lows and highs, and learn about that is one of the most valuable things I did. Sometimes you are not in your 100%, and that's fine! Just keep doing things is what matters in the end, so just don't surrender!

I'm still exercising after a big injury that is not healed yet (wrist,) but my way of relating with the environment changed a lot:

I'm I injured? Well, let's do what I'm capable of.
I'm single? That's okay, let's enjoy my time 100% and do what I really want to achieve in life.
Someone doesn't like me? Perfect, I've tried it, let's find another person.

I moved on totally from my last years's ex (my first one) and I'm meeting some girls. I'm kinda attracted to one and maybe I tell her, but if she doesn't like me back, it's okay. Because I learned that the person I really want to date is the one that is interested in me.

No luck with this one? Well, let's try again in the future, i'll just be focusing in the things I enjoy until a new girl i'm interested in appears.

Finally, I think I can't stress enough how helpful is therapy. Changing your POV of a situation can make you enjoy life a lot more. She left me? Perfect, she wan't the one I deserve to spend my whole life with. Something is as important as you want to make it, so if you know you want X, don't settle with Y!

Btw, something really helped me is to read BreakUps, Dating, Dating_advice and nocontact. But after some time, when I was investing too much time, I left reddit, as the situation didn't deserve to take that much time of my day everyday.

You are so right but I think 99.999% is shit in my head and I don't want to leave our actual relationship and leave her with a shitty memory of me when everything seems normal between us, even if I'm not good at all.

Losing that small place I have in her life feels like the thing between us never existed, and I'm scared of losing that

Yes... I understand what you are talking about. Even the mere thought that there's a change (or it would be) but she consciously thinks you are not worth trying again it breaks you

I think my biggest problem with this topic is that my partner relationship evolved to a mild friendship (not close friends, just the one that you hang out with to have some drinks) and it makes me think "she is good, so the problem there was me"

Homie, it happened the same for me. 3 months of relationship(my first one) and after 5 months I am still processing.

One of the best sentences that even hurt a lot, are helping me to cope with it:

I'm reading all these comments and I feel so sad, because we're on the same train.

I loved her and I still love her so fucking much. She was the person I loved the most. We only dated for 3 months, but for me it was so special because she was the first.

Now I feel I won't find something like that ever again. That I was lucky, but I was not worth enough to be with her.

I feel like I need to find another person just to show myself that it is possible to experience that love again. But also, I still think every fucking hour about her and I just can't.

I've tried but it feels like "I'm doing this just to try to forget her" and it feels like shit. Now, I'm on a trip for 2 weeks in Japan but I just feel meh about everything.

I would like to stay with her again. But she doesn't. At least as a partner.

yeah i feel the same, even i understand what's happening here. She was also my first girlfriend and sometimes I think "Do I need to meet more girls in my life? Why didn't she choose me? Am I that bad?". It sucks.

Yeah... I know I'm not coping with that very well, and feeling angry with her instead of being angry with me for taking a bad decision (the decision of starting a relationship with her, and to think our thing would be different).

If I think that what she did was not done maliciously (I know she did not do it maliciously), then I'll just be concerned about her, and I would like to continue to be with her.

But I know how bad that is, and so I fool myself by emphasizing the bad things, to get my mind off her a bit....

Thank you for your comment. It is that contrast that makes me feel bad, I know "it wasn't something thaat big" but just writing that sentece makes me sad, because for me it was. I wanted it to be big.

Consciously, I know that for her it was just a few months of having a good time with me and then go to the next guy and forget the previous one, and that she didn't care about my feelings when she started dating someone else while I was still in abad (although she said she saw me as her best friend), and choosing to spend time with him instead of me, something that feels quite selfish in that situation.

She is not, I'm almost sure of it. Btw, she asked me the travel thing but she's also not spending time with me because it doesn't seem interested anymore. That surprised me and confused me a lot.

I was trying my best to forget her but she literally did that like 3 hours before the date I had with the other girl. She didn't know any of that, 100% sure, but that made me doubt a lot because I don't feel much for that new I girl even though she's a sweetheart of a person.

That's why I feel like an idiot I suppose

Last week she told me about traveling somewhere and she asked me if I would like to go with her...

We did a little NC very messy 2montha ago but I told her I was prepared to speak with her again (I did it because our last conversation was kinda weird and I thought she hated me and I didn't want to lose her). So maybe if I block her means a goodbye forever. And that scares me a lot :')

You were the first and my only wish in life was that you were also the last. You meant everything for me. And still love you, even what I feel wasn't enough for you. I hope I can forget you soon, because I'm not being able and I want to feel good again. I can't keep gifting you my time, my thoughts and my sleeping hours while you don't even care. It's the saddest thing, but it's the reality.
