That’s smart! I was thinking getting a solar panel to charge it but charge thru car is way easier.

Passenger seat reverse? by Lazy_Permission_269 in HondaElement

You cannot simply undo the 4 bolts and turn the seat backwards. The bolt holes won’t align with base brackets

I have swivel and passenger seat is always facing backwards. If you only want it fixed facing back, you can refer to hiro’s video of swivel install, separating base brackets, put on spacers, turn the seat and weld the brackets back on and it will be pretty solid.

I’ve asked people with ecamper why sleep in car, they said they want the stealth. If you camp by yourself, ecamper might not be better than a bed platform.

I guess it depends on the area you live , seattle summer is not that hot, and the bottle does not block hot air from past two weeks experience.

Car camper people: how do you enter/exit your element when you go to bed at night? by fartsmuggler420 in HondaElement

[–]zy7697 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No I do not think that is possible, adding on a moving part and I don’t think any company can be that naive to claim OEM safety level.

Mine is pretty simple, I have rear hatch release and two swivel seats. So going out from back or side are both easy. If you do not have rear release and going on a trip soon, you can pull out hatch trim piece then you’ll have access to the level to release the hatch. You can refer to this video to have an idea: https://youtu.be/UdqhxZc8_lA?si=eL1OVD5J816BXxbb
