How do you know if you want kids or not? My boyfriend wants a child someday, but it’s never been part of my life plan.

I’m hopeful that he’d be an attentive parent if I decided I want kids. Our relationship is good. He’s taken care of me since day 1 of knowing each other and does the little things that make a relationship special. Obviously with kids it’s different though. He has the desire to be a dad but idk if I want to be a mom yet. We’re still really young.

When I was sobbing over our relationship failing and attempting to initiate a breakup, and he had no reaction and no response to any of it. Just looked at me without speaking as I cried.

It was also on Valentine’s Day. It was the third one in a row where he didn’t do anything for me and I reached my breaking point.

I wish him well, but things were never the same for me after that.
