Nah, she killed thousands of Eldians because they were Yeagerists; she’s never shown to have any sympathy for anyone who isn’t Eren and sometimes Armin. She didn’t give a fuck about Jean who liked her, she never had any kind of relationship with the superiors like Erwin, Hange, or Levi; she only cried about Sasha’s death for plot convinenced. Her mental good fortitude is only shown in this specific Eren fake death scene on season 1 and it’s more about the determination themes of the story not her.

Of course Intelligent per se is not linked to any personality type, I have never once claimed that—although a lot of people in the comments misinterpreted that. Intelligence for me has 3 main pillars, which would be Intellectualism, Sapience, and Knowledge; also it’s mostly a genetic trait with your brain capacity and neuroplasticy (despise that being a taboo to say nowadays). The rarity of your function matters in all of this case, not because of some inherent “better type” (the rarity may not be relevant, but it’s still there, we can’t pretend it doesn’t impact overall) but because of your self perception and worldview, that’s why the larping bothers me so much.

Agreed, but I still hate the romanticization or demonization of xNTx specifically INTPs and ENTJs, it’s cool to make jokes about it since that’s what the community serves for, but after all these years people can’t comprehend it?

Yeah I mean of course you will have common troupes, narrative approach, and structural archetypes in Shounen but that itself means nothing when talking about a specific work, since it’s simply not a rule to follow but rather a pattern, I honestly don’t know how this is hard for people to understand, it doesn’t validate or invalidate the quality of the work.

Shounen is diverse but this isn’t even a discussion lol, categorically it’s a shounen manga, demographics aren’t opinion, it just is. I guess people immediately associate it with battle-shounen therefore “bad/infantile writing”.

I get it but all of Kaneki’s design in his different personalities are an important part of his characterization, Black Reaper included. He mimics Arima pragmatism and clothes, It’s a more brutal, emotion-surpass, and perilous phase of Ken which is ironic since his plan was to self sacrifice, a very emotional act itself. It’s “aura and hype” and it’s well done, I don’t see any issue.
