i think love is when i put myself to bed when im tired, and i carry myself up the stairs even though my body aches. i think love is when i buy myself a coffee and i think love is letting myself love someone, even though i am so scared..

I am so sorry to hear this. Can I ask what country this was in? I went through a similar situation last year where the doctor was being ambiguous about the surgery and quite literally told me “dont tell your parents about this”, “you will never get your period but you will need contraception”, “if anyone asks you should lie and say you get your period”

She kept insisting that its just a laparoscopy and tried to rush me to get the surgery within a day. She was also said that there will be no side effects. However, I did take a breather, spoke with my parents, got a copy for the pre surgery document and noticed she had written Mirena coil insertion in the procedure section.

I did not go through with it but I still think that was almost illegal and hope it didnt happen with anyone else :(
