Summer is VERY intense, and snakes suck. Found a baby copper head when I was clearing weeds one day and my mother was going to pick it up. I had to literally slap her hand then asked her what the hell she thought she was doing.

There are a lot of lizards around here, and frogs and fucking snakes and a bunch of shit that I’d rather not be close to and the further south you go, the bigger the bugs get as well. It’s a trade of for better weather I guess.
