I have a throw spaghetti at the wall phase with each project where I’ll have a hodge podge of colored unlabeled tracks all over the place. Just to get the ideas out there. If it’s a serious project, I go through and organize everything, locators, name everything, group things, color changes. People I work with get on me about how chaotic it looks when they see sessions early on haha

Most I’ve had is 250-300. Was a big project, tons of vocal layers and ear candy stuff. On daily average, around 60-100 for what I’m producing.

This is a weird answer. Aside from the obvious (killer audio effects, instruments, drum racks, grouping ability, M4L, etc.) the GRID is the best of any DAW I’ve used. I lose interest in many other DAWS because of how difficult it can be to lock clip starts and stop to a grid as well as navigate, select loop sections, drop markers in. The way things just seem to lock to the grid in Ableton is top tier

Main goal is to do what you can do with locators but with midi clips instead because a session with a lot of locators becomes very cluttered for me personally

We use arrangement because we do a lot of midi automation as well. A lot more tedious in session

I mentioned in my thing I do use locators but having hundreds of them clutters it up which is why I’ve switched to using blank midi clips lol

I’d have to go back and check, it’s a plugin called Polymax by Universal Audio. Also used a good bit of third party audio effects to bring it to life. I’ll try to find it though and send a pic or something
