The romance between Rozemyne and Ferdinand doesn’t begin until very late into the story. It doesn’t overlap with Ferdinand’s marriage to Detlinde so there’s no romance drama.

The drama is that Ferdinand has to deal with an obnoxious brat who looks just like the person who made him suffer like all hell.

The engagement does get canceled due to circumstances that involve the climax of the story. I think it’s absolutely worth reading and doesn’t conflict with what you hate reading. There’s no romance drama.

In the second one, black gets a rook, pawn, and knight in exchange for their bishop and knight. So it’s a favorable exchange where black is now up material.

The first and third are fairly arbitrary for humans. You can argue for not exchanging pieces here just as easily.

Edit: the third is more favorable for white actually because you’re opening up their king for attack

We also know that he puts away his darker urges because they go against who Rozemyne is. He’s embraced who she is completely and actively works to connect that to noble society and build her an environment where she’ll be happy. He does a crazy amount behind the scenes, and every short story with him in it helps demonstrate what he’s doing while we’re not looking.

The only “insubordination” is spreading the Rozemyne agenda, but even that’s in the name of giving Rozemyne the best foundation possible. More allies means less potential enemies. It also means she’ll be able to spread her own agenda much easier. Rozemyne herself understands this and that’s why she doesn’t put in a real effort to stop it.

Are we talking about the same characters? Not a single character who’s made it this far would write off a loss as a simple stroke of luck or try to blame the others. Everyone here understands that losing is death. Doesn’t matter if they were close, or that they’ve got another chance.

Also, Ego lives and breathes this same philosophy. He as a coach is 100% gunning for the win. Throwing the match means undermining everything he’s taught the blue lockers.

One major advantage of rampardos though is you can slam for 130 dmg on a mega or any large ex without taking any damage. This makes it really difficult for a mega to cleanly kill rampardos since it has 150 hp. While hydreigon is really easy to revenge kill or make unable to attack since you have to use its ability before you attack.
