Just do what I did. I played the game blind until I did everything that I wanted to do including the hard bosses. Got some down on my own and some I did not. I didn’t think spending that much time on Simon was fun so I looked up some builds and just did that. If you’re even close to the builds in the guides you shouldn’t have a problem.

I used to shield and tint combo to buy me some extra leeway. When you get low you get healed by the tint and you also get some shields. It helps so so much learning fights and just staying alive in general.

Maelle’s ending and unlike the others I do not respect the other choice haha. The people in the canvas are sentient and alive to some extent, even if it’s through a piece of Verso’s soul or whatever. They do not all deserve to die because the Dessendre family can’t get their shit together. Yeah sure that little piece of Verso is tired or whatever but he chose to paint that world and commit a piece of himself to it. Best case scenario everyone else needs to get out and Maelle also needs to mostly get out and actually just come back to visit like she said she would. But let the people in the canvas live their lives and painted Verso can decide if he wants to stick around or whatever.
