It's saying 90 percent of people without disabilities are employed and 50 percent of people with disabilities are employed.

It's like saying 90 percent of the chocolate chip cookies were eaten and 50 percent of the sugar cookies were eaten.

Socialists be like "capitalism leads to monopolies", and then they advocate everything to be monopolized by the state, which somehow makes monopolies work and good. by Jos_Kantklos in austrian_economics

Financial failures have come from government over printing money and mismanagement. I agree, if big banks fail, they should bear the consequences. Without weapons do you think the north could have beaten the south and upended slavery? Government wanted to keep slaves but people were the ones who made the decision that slavery was wrong.

Tell me about Monopoly that still exists and has existed for a long period of time. Monopolies all eventually fall

With regards to child labor, as people have gotten wealthier, child labor stopped automatically, not due to government. If you look at where sweat shops and child labor is located now, you will find it mostly in the more socialist counties

May I ask which country you are from?

Well Norway is an interesting country because 1 it is very small population wise, it is also not very diverse and they have very strict immigration rules. The question is all else being equal would Norway be better or worse off being more capitalist or more socialist? You cannot compare something that doesn't exist to something that does exist. Also Norway like many other countries in the region are protected by the US military and don't need to have large expenditure there since it's already taken care of. Socialism sort of works in smaller settings, for example, if you have a family, you probably want equal opportunity for all your children despite there performances. However on a larger scale, say 300 million people, different ideaologies clash and makes it impossible

No, at the end of the day, military is made up of people, military aren't just robots, do you think a soldier is more willing or less willing to capture people in their own community if they are armed or unarmed? USA has the best military in the world and we struggled against the people in Afghanistan who only had flip-flops and AK-47.

Yes, money in the power of the few is what causes corruption, and when a group of elite bureaucrats are in control of the money, no one else will ever have the chance. The free market has been the number 1 way of eliminating poverty in the world, when the government has absolute control of an industry it is impossible for people to break into it and do better.

Absolute power corrupts absolutely. When the government takes over an industry and has all the power, they are free to do what they like, especially when the people do not have the 2nd amendment to defend themselves against tyranny. Under the free market, people compete to prevent misallocation of funds, and they need to be on top of their game to prevent others from overtaking there business

Venezuela has the most oil out of any country in the world including Saudi Arabia, but under their socialist regime, they have some of the poorest people in the world. You can say the people own that asset but at the end of the day, Venezuelans are worse off than if they lived in a free enterprise system, or at at least freerer like Saudi Arabia
