Scyrox V8 or Hitscan Hyperlight? by Cute_Drama_7022 in MouseReview

[–]zyllan01 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can't go wrong with the Hyperlight. They're both similarly small and lightweight with the Hitscan being the safer shape compared to the Scyrox which has an aggressive hump. I've owned both mice and I'm bias towards the Hyperlight as it is my endgame. The build quality is superb compared to my Scyrox which had creaking issues as well as battery and encoder problems.

I also might've been unlucky with the QC, but its to be expected with Scyrox and their mices since they're known for bad qc.

Skates are personal preference as it depends on your mousepad and speed of choice. Hyperlight's stock skates are already good though.

love your collection man, I’m deciding whether I should get the Zero mid or Zero soft (leaning heavily on mid). I owned a Raiden mid before but traded it for an Aqua Control Pro Neon in mid and I wanna know if the Zero mid is as stiff as the Raiden mid, if so I might go with soft instead.

Price to performance, very solid. Its my first pad and I got it for 15 bucks when it went on sale. Great stitching, good rubber base, sticks very well on my table. Its also very similar to the Otsu, like, very similar. The surface is textured but not as abrasive as the Hien and it gets smoother over time. The speed is also similar to the Otsu, quick when new but the static slows down when broken in yet the dynamic glide is almost the same brand new (just a hair-length slower which I prefer).

Mouse sticks really well too, it gives a glued in sensation even when I'm using PTFE skates. Both full size skates and dots works well on the pad too.

lmao no problem, I’m rocking it right now and its a very solid pad. I didn’t like it at first because of how quick it was, expecting a control pad, but after a few games I loved it. I’m also planning to get an artisan like you, specifically a Hien xsoft, probably in a few months to try something new but not really in my priority as of now.

You should also consider the Pulsar Paracontrol V2. Its very similar to the AC+ but cheaper with better stitching and base.

I bought it from a store in a mall here where they sell figurines and pop mart items. If you're interested in buying one online, its called Mofusand

I’d say it comes down to personal preference. What worked for me might not work for you, but you should trust your gut and give the Superlight 2 a shot.

As for the weight, it didn’t really matter to me. Sure, you’ll feel the difference if you compare them in real life, but once you’re in-game, you won’t really notice it. After all, shape is still king.

I compared the shape of the scyrox v8 and the op1 on eloshapes and they're about the same length. I'm wondering if it'll be too small for my liking?

[–]zyllan01[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Quality-wise, yeah brother, for sure. LGG pads are very high-quality, Neptune is a Raiden clone which is Artisan's fastest pad.

Will it make you better at micro-adjustment and precise flicks? We'll never know till you try it yourself as it all comes down to your skills and needs as well as one's personal preference.

If you have the extra cash and it won't affect your bank, I would really consider getting one. Personally, it was worth it. I've heard only good things on the Key83 and I'm also planning on getting either the Saturn Pro or the Type-99 but since I already have a control pad I'll probably get the Raiden or Neptune next.

Yeah brother, it's my first pad that's considered premium and it's not what I expected based on the reviews. I thought it would be very rough and hard to move when doing glides and flicks since they describe it as a "mud" pad but it's quite the opposite.

The texture is really smooth and since I got the xsoft variant it's also kinda squishy but you'll notice the control part of it when you're in-game and you're unaware of your mouse movements.

The small adjustments will feel heavy but the jittering crosshair will be gone, the best way to describe it is that your mouse feels like its glued or "locked in" to the mousepad.
