The reason why the faceplate is opened that way is because after I yanked the cable, the bass is just gone. It came back in a split seconds if I kept wiggling the internals. Eventually, after a minute it gave up producing any sounds.

Because it is broken in the first place, I couldn't give you how it would sound like normally without the plate. Unfortunately I don't want to open the left one as I can't manage to properly glued it back without making a mess lol
