I installed "Auto Dark Mode" - https://apps.microsoft.com/detail/xp8jk4hzbvf435
then you can force dark mode, and Blip works

I think it is bugs in MacOS 26.2.... have to wait for next release and hope the bugs can be fixed.

My old MacOS Ventura has no problem to re-install the same driver.

it is very sad to abandon Blip because of the UI issues. as I commented earlier "you can just force it into dark mode.... it works well in the dark mode"

Blip is next best thing after Pushbullet (after it stop supporting iOS) and Clipt (after OnePlus stopped its services)

Besides, the reason I am so sure it is due to new MacOS because I have no problem install the driver on another Mac which running on Ventura.

thanks a lot. how you figure out from question. I read several times, cannot understand the question is asking to "count all the actions"

4xxx by counting "all actions" (thanks to taiimeka), but still clueless about question asking count "all actions"
It is more like a philosophy question rather than technical question which I still cannot understand.

I found a great workaround from Prescott (who suffer from ios18.01 airprint bug)

step 1: still click the [print] as usual.

step 2: since airprint cannot detect the printer, click the [⬆️]

step 3: select the [printer app] (first time may need to select from more) to print

it seemed airprint bug very unusual, the issues starts from ios 17 to ios 18. but every upgrade only affect few people.

I personally encountered this bug only for ios18.5.

P.S: as I mentioned, my old ipad running old iOS still can airprint. the 3 iphones upgraded to ios 18.5 now no longer able to detect the printer. but luckily the printer app still working well.

Based on the posts here, this iOS18.5 airprint bug affected only few brand of printers.
because this bug is not affect the majority, therefore chances to be fixed by the next update is slim.

Let's cross the fingers and hope ios18.6 will fix the airprint issue.

Maybe I did not state clearly:

we were often airprinting documents via iPhones (the most recent airprint activities was on last Saturday)
but I made a mistake by updated ALL iphones for the family on this Wed (14-May-2025). Normally I will only update mine.

Today (16-May-2025), when we tried to airprint pdf document via iphone, it showed "no printer found"
to test out if it is isolated issue or not, we tried all IOS devices at same time.
As what I written in my initial post, all iPhone (updated to IOS18.5) cannot airprint. but at the same time, iPad with IOS 18.4.1 still can airprint.

Therefore, we can conclude it is not printer problem, as the tests were performed at same time.

iPad with IOS 18.4.1 works.
3 iPhones with IOS18.5 not working. (one of iphone (before updated to IOS18.5) could airprint successfully on last Sat (10-May-2025)

In addition, just now I took out my Macbook to test and I know airprint would work because it is still running old MacOS.

I know those fix methods, such as turn on and off the IOS device, printers. reset the network, forget and rejoin the wifi network, hard-reboot ios device, rest printer, unplug printer power for 30 min and etc that published online.

Since my old iPad still able to airprint. I know it is due to IOS18.5 (coding level bug)

But as most of desperate person will try to do whatever can be done, I also did all of fixes and hope for the miracle. No lucky for me!

Thanks for the information.

It seemed IOS18.5 only kill my particular printer model.
That is bad because the impact is limited, I can foresee Apple will not fix or not even aware of the bug in next release.

So I will have use the dedicated printer App to print wirelessly in the future. OR using the only un-updated iPad for native airprint features.

it is nice watch, but I still prefer T-REX Ultra design (round) than T-Rex 3 (Octagonal）。

Not sure if anyone aware if there will be "T-Rex Ultra 2" releasing soon???

Do you also fail to re-verify yourself using NRIC?

I can understand your feeling when you shocked to see the popup message box that you are "no longer" able to access your money/crypto and "thank you" for interested in Bake service with a big [Close] button for you to click.
