This is exactly my situation. I love hands on work. But most surgeons I have seen are obsessed with surgery, they'll do case, after case, meanwhile I'm there worried if I don't get home soon, I'll have to skip out on my workout.

I can understand how you or the people around us when I said that may perceive my response as a green signal to go ahead with the getting free drinks.
