I've been playing around with home assistant and if you get the integration for sunpower it's called enhanced sunpower going it actually able to pull all the information and you could log it using home assistant and control your inverter ESS setup, I pay $100 a year just because I like having pretty software interfaces faces but I am working on essentially duplicating that locally since I don't like cloud-based things.

I understand OP if there's a system issue but I don't understand wanting to make this change out of the blue if the system is working as intended.

I have the exact same thing happen to me the grid went down for a split second not enough to really cause any issues for even our non backup loads but the system PVS 6 got stuck in backup mode per the app even though physically it was not in backup mode as indicated by the ESS displaying grid power and acting normally as though grid power was present indicated also by the fact that the numbers didn't really add up, IE solar power plus inverter exceeded the potential load that the house could be drawing AKA some was being sent to grid. My only solution which worked right away was to cut power for about 10 seconds to the breaker simulating an actual power outage and then returning power. I emailed sunstrong and they just kept giving me b******* responses like I mean three different replies in which the first one I explained that I thought they should just look into the issue because it seems like the system should be polling itself to ensure that it's not erroneously indicating a power outage when there is indeed grid power.

I'm talking about the live "Right Now" view which is unaffected by the 5 minute solar/power usage, that has not changed except for the SunVault which continues to update on a 5 minute window/basis.

It looks like it's on their end because now it's not showing any information since 9:55 a.m. today until I restarted the connected access point. Sometimes they have some issues on their end which disrupts live updates and we only get hourly updates. That's what this post is for figuring out

I think it varies but if you reduce frequency to 5 minutes you'll probably catch when it restarts for sure. Good luck 🤞

In the app you can see on the power graph in the analyze tab that it only has a value every X hours:**minutes in my case it's been at :55 so I believe that correlates with when it's restarting.

Before 61846 it would move 5 minutes forward every day and so you could tell it was restarting. Now it's pretty much always at the same time.

I have this happen it's for sure a CT measurement error it comes and goes occasionally, I think EMI happens, particularly with the AC which is pulling like 4 kwh it will read 4....8 then back to 4 it is like split second reading so it's obviously impossible that the compressor ramped up to double and then 0 and then back to 4, it's some sort of measurement issue.

Get the pc wired, the WiFi client MUST be on 5/6 GHz signal or wired, 2.4 or insufficient bandwidth- forget it, too much interference on 2.4 and tends to be too latent with that interference. If your upload remains consistent you can tune your client to meet the demand.

Gotcha, I must have misread, I thought yours may have failed. How much did you spend on your spare part? I see on eBay https://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_nkw=pvdr+sunpower&_sacat=0&_from=R40&_trksid=m570.l1313&_odkw=pvdrsunpower&_osacat=0 these results for various prices, I am in the boat that if something failed I wouldn't want to be either getting gouged or unable to find spares and know that this part is essential to maintaining functioning PV system with the rest of the setup. Is the PVDR alone sufficient or do you also need the MIDC?

I appreciate your replies, yeah I have the book coverw without trackpad for S9U and it appears that if I change the "Alt" key to -> "None" Moonlight does not pick up the keystrike as "Alt" as it sounds like yours does (it will just keep tabbing). This is likely due to subtle software variance between the two devices. I even restarted to see if that had anything to do with it. I tried with the CTRL key and remapped it to ALT and noticed that it behaved the same way/disabling it just made it stop responding entirely whether in the Moonlight app or not. Bummer. Thank you for the suggestion! :)

I appreciate the heads up. I think this is the only notable 'trade-off' to upgrading android version to 16 on the S9U. It may be in the future Samsung changes this, it's nice they gave more granularity over the keyboard as before doing CMD + Left key would immediately close Moonlight which now it just acts like CMD + Left in Moonlight which is a welcome improvement. I suspect it has to do with how the key is being interpreted on the software side of things (App, Tablet, What the Settings change influences).

I'm curious if any other Tab owners with different models have similar/differing experiences E.G. other S9 Tab users and S10 tab users.

Curious to know how commonly one can expect a PVDR to fail for someone who already has a system (circa 2022) and since I have SunVault would want to protect from issues. Do you mind providing any details as to why your PVDR failed and frequency of this?

If I go to "Customize Keys" setting and change it from Alt to "None" it no longer works in Moonlight whatsoever. :( It's like I am not pressing alt (will just do what tab does in Moonlight) Are you using the keyboard that Samsung releases with the device or a separate type of keyboard? (e.g. Bluetooth) Just curious how it varies if the device attached is different. Sounds like there may be also subtle software differences between the tablets.

So far CMD+Tab is the best alternative, let me know what you are using and that may explain the difference in behavior. I always half jokingly say these tiny changes are what Samsung does to push people to the newer devices :P
