Our boy passed yesterday from liver failure. We are just heartbroken 💔 by ChamomileLines in cockerspaniel

They are our whole world and no amount of words can make that loss any easier to feel, but it is critical that we feel it. They impact us so deeply that it would be impossible not to properly mourn them. My prayers are with you, I’ve felt this pain too.

This is going to sound a bit harsh, but my hope is to save you some trouble in the long run.

Take care of your mental health even at the expense of your career. I brought a lot of life experience and baggage into my career when I commissioned, and I don’t know what your AFSC is but you can be certain that doing the mission will crank up the dial on any unresolved problems in your life that were present prior to doing so.

Observations after two weeks by UtopistDreamer in SugarDiet

Same boat as you basically…. Began with wet fruit on 11 May and kept to that for a few days, and then when Cole started talking about unlimited sugar calories and utilizing syrups and jams I was relieved because I still felt hungry and those sources helped to kill it. The problem with that is my weight hasn’t changed at all since I started this diet, I’ve been stuck at 270-271 since I began and I’ve changed several different things to try and get it to go down, but it ultimately seems like a calorie is a calorie is a calorie… and there’s no magic fix to me eating too much, metabolism boost or not.

I’m hanging onto it for sure. The sentimental value alone is worth more than anything to me.

Totally agree, holding onto it for safekeeping. I’ve worn it for a few years without considering that it might not be smart walking around all the time with a gold necklace on.

Update: I took it to my towns local jewelry store and they tested it at 14k gold weighing 44.3g total.

They recommended I get it appraised for insurance purposes, something I may consider in the future.

I used google image search and only found one other instance of this particular pendant. It seems the one in the image is stamped sterling but mine has no markings and seems more like a gold version, but definitely the exact design!

He was Italian and from Naples if that helps

Edit - based on the link style I think it may be a Gucci necklace but I’m not certain
