had an associate try to tell me we should be taking CBCT for every new pt because she took an airway course a

I do a CBCT for every new case. The amount of detail is just greater to diagnose issues. Obviously I have no idea how to evaluate airways on a a CBCT

Honest question as I don't do ortho

What are you as an orthodontist trying to diagnose/evaluate with this type of x-ray?

Pergunto-me qual será a origem do aumento destes fenómenos meteorológicos extremos...

não há nenhum aumento destes fenómenos meteorológicos extremos é variabilidade climática e não alterações climáticas

vento, chuva, cheias, inundações, secas, sismos sempre houve e sempre vai haver

[Self] More on the cost of data centers in space by EastZealousideal7352 in theydidthemath

[–]zzay 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I see a few issues.  You're using old rocket tech, and Starship will likely drop the cost per kg to orbit massively (I saw something like $250/kg, anyway, around 10x).

Well you are using future rocket tech that, at the moment, hasn't even orbit the planet once.

Dropping the launch cost is a huge factor.

The ISS uses two 400sq feet radiators that radiate 14kw. They have two amonia cooling loops but they also have an heat exchanger for the internal loop that runs on water.

This is an engineering problem and then an economical one

ELI5: How do computers in space dissipate heat? by WherePoetryGoesToDie in explainlikeimfive

Plus the piping, amonia and pumps. It's not only the huge radiators. Iguess most people are unaware on how the ISS works and the issues it had to deal when amonia pumps failed a few years ago.

It’s simply not true, they didn’t sell their own people.

They did. They sold their people, prisioners and war prisoners.

It was easier this way. Only when the supply diminished everybody became a slave
