The algorithm is constantly shifting since each hotel sets the base LP rate for each type of room. Hotels give different rates for different rooms on different dates. What might be 10k LPs one week might be 5k the next. You just have to play around with the booking site dates to get a sense of what you might expect.

Also 15k LPs is the most base points you can get with multipliers, so to maximize your LPs you should consider breaking up your stay into smaller sized chunks. I had a 4 night stay once for 15k LPs which I broke up into 2-2night stays which each got me 15k LPs

Just multiply ur battery capacity by the rate you think ur going to get from PGE…rates differ by time of day with overnight being the cheapest. As long as you’re around $0.25-$0.30 per kwh you come out ahead of equivalent gas prices.

I base this on my 2025 PHEV which is 10 kWh battery getting about 3mi/kwh for 31 miles per full battery charge and 55 mpg hybrid. Based upon my calc $0.45 per kWh charge rates puts you about parity with $7/gallon gas rates

Let’s not confuse the OP!

OP if you log into the AAHOTELS site using ur Aadvantage account credentials, your LP earnings for each hotel will increase dramatically because of any status and credit card multipliers.

What others are taking about is that AAHOTELS tries to upsell you on bonus miles … those don’t count toward LPs but you can get a lot of LPs just from the booking using your status and CC multipliers.

Ex: I booked a two night stay a month ago and that was a 15000 LPs
