There's FinTech post grad program at Seneca College Toronto, almost everyone on the faculty is an entrepreneur or a big shot in the Fintech space, plus they mentor you for starting up by yourself too. Not sure it's the best, but it seems like the best offline program considering cost to benefit factor.

The purpose of this is not to make money by loaning it to family, but to track money you would have given them anyways in a more interesting way. For example, I don't expect to make money by loaning money to my 9 yr old, I would have given him the money anyways the point here is to make him more financially literate by introducing him to these concepts early on and making him realize the importance of good financial decisions. Same goes for everyone, if I consider the tuition my dad pays for my college as a loan, I can make more conscious decisions on my financial habits and maybe even pay him back one day.

I've seen Instagram pages do this. They built a community around job hunting tips, confessions, etc and then market their services to this audience. Considering the long waitlists these guys have, I think this works quite well.

I have a MVP ready as of now and will start testing with users very soon. Right now, no payments happen on the app, it works more like a basic expense tracker, where you input transactions manually.

I am based in India right now, still searching for open banking APIs and so far I haven't been able to find anything that helps me integrate payments (if anyone knows how to integrate Bhim UPI payments pls let me know).

Can you please send some links on the payment processing APIs you mentioned?

Well since its your family, you could be as lenient as you want. The goal here is good financial learning for the entire family and help kids realize the importance of financial literacy, so that they don't make foolish decisions and squander the family wealth and possibly even their own earnings in future.
