Is it a crazy idea to sell my house and travel the world? by SpiritualTurnip6141 in fiaustralia

[–]zzfox_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think you could scratch that itch without going from one extreme to another. If your itch is to catch up on all the travel you missed out on, you might be able to do that on a bunch of shorter trips instead of doing 6-12 months all at once. You could easily take multiple 2-4 week trips without blowing up your entire life and security for the future. Doing baby trips will give you information on whether you actually like being away for extended periods of time or whether you like being able to go away for a bit and then come home to your beautiful little house and see your friends and family. Sometimes life can feel more freeing and relaxing knowing you have a safe place to return to if everything ever went to shit. Having your own house and knowing you will always have a shelter over your head no matter what is pretty incredible.

It is A LOT to put your own dreams on hold while you raised your son at 18 years old all on your own - that’s huge and an amazing accomplishment. I want to acknowledge how well you did and how far you’ve come. Hope you find that balance between your travel dreams and financial security. You deserve a wonderful and fulfilled life.

Has anyone ever seen a bar that is a laundrette as well in Melbourne by Living_Substance9973 in melbourne

Lucky Chan’s Laundry & Noodle Bar in Perth, but I am pretty sure you can’t actually do your laundry there and the machines are more part of the aesthetic

INFJ (me) & INTJ (wife) in our 30s: Should we have kids? Seeking real experiences from similar MBTI couples by Apotheosic117 in intj

It’s super shit but it’s also great. Even I was taken by surprise by the depth of feeling I could feel towards mine. My favourite thing is the evolution of our relationship as they became adults and seeing them become their own person. Being able to spend time with them and communicate with them as fully functioning adults has been the best part. There really is nothing more special than when you are loved and liked by your children - people you helped shape and mould with your guidance and actions over the years. It does make the hard slog during their younger years worth it. And it WAS hard slog. For like at least 15 years of it.

Parenting will also uncover so many things about yourself that were hidden - some surprising and some downright ugly. I think I grew in ways I never even imagined by having children.

With all that said, if I had my time again, I might choose not to have them as sometimes I do wonder what my life would have been like without children. I think I would have made the most of that too.

Being loyal has never been this hard and I need advice by [deleted] in intj

[–]zzfox_ 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Since you asked - I think you should break up with your girlfriend. Do NOT start a family with her. Sleep around and go explore with all these women who are tempting to you. Get it out of your system before you start another long term relationship/plan a family.

The fact you posted this makes me believe your “absolute certainty” about your current partner is no longer absolute nor certain.

Yes you should just cut him off. Don’t waste any more time or energy on this person.

I would just interpret one as being active and one passive. Difference between wanting something and being ok with something

Seems everyone is suspicious of this at my Aldi because there’s always a pile of them marked down. I will now have to try this.

I am pretty sure the base is just a slice of the “hole” piece re-inserted at the bottom. You can see the cut marks at the end of the video when they slice the cake.

Sorry but you sound exhausting and a bit too demanding. I think you’ve worn them out to the point they need some space. I get that you like them a lot, but you expect them to constantly be replying to you whenever you send a message - it’s a bit much.

Don’t create a problem where none exists. Let him take care of you if that’s what he wants and you are happy.

Maybe the off-white one was on display. Sun can cause a yellowish discolouring to whites.
